I have the Milwaukee String Trimmer, with edger, polesaw, hedge trimmer attachments. I have the single battery leaf blower, and the 14 inch top handle chainsaw. All of these work great and have plenty of power! I am happy with them so far.
I tried the Ego Select Cut first but ended up returning it, and got the Milwaukee lawnmower. I would suggest trying both. They both have their pros and cons. A sleeper in handheld battery powered blowers is the Husqvarna 350iB, 800 CFM, 200 mph. Husqvarna’s battery powered OPE tool selection may not be as popular as Milwaukee or Ego, but that blower is the truth and ahead of its competition.
Ego is the way to go. They used to have a sale on a combo kit for 220$ battery charger. Line trimmer and blower. I don’t see it on Ace’s website anymore.
I am so envious! My local Ace is no where near as large as your local store. Your store looks like a big box store tool isles. I hate the Milwaukee M12 battery. Those stupid plastic clip mechanisms are always so hard to depress to release the battery. I avoid that platform these days just for that reason
not a pro with OPE, but the stuff I've gotten from Ego at lowes during sales has been top notch and the Battery is 56V so loads of power. Not to mention they have shop vacs and pressure washers that they can put out since those batteries are such beasts. I definitely love Milwaukee but for the price and power output in OPE, it's hard to beat EGO.
