I felt really good about this match. And shoutout to that guy in the Pixy, I couldn't get him but he got me o7 SHAREfactory™ store.playstation.com/#!/en-g...
@@utkarshg.bharti9714 hard mode isn't that hard. Just shoot down all the planes then focus on ground targets. The only problems you might encounter are with the arsenal birds and the two drones during the last mission.
So this is what a proper dogfight is like, of the few matches i've played everyone just looped indefinitly and no one could hit anyone for the entire time
Not gonna lie to you this video was meant to be more like a "how to stay close to someone" type of video, and I worded the title badly xD. My other AC7 videos will give you a better idea how how to lead your shots as well as how to time them. If you're new I think those will help you better than this one
Dude Im laughing so hard at myself, I’ve ended the game 5 times on Ace and I found out today that you can follow the enemy by holding triangle. Love this game
What's funny is that even though I have also played Ace Combat X before... The whole game on hard and Ace. I also did not know until I started playing AC7 that you can camera follow with triangle. And to be fair I was also playing in first person mode (no cockpit) on ACX.
Man nice work, dogfighting in AC7 multiplayer is a blast, even if I don't get first if I get good fights in and hit a bunch of enemies I end up having a good time.
@@This_Pleases_The_Nut or those annoying drones the ADF-11 raven has, the only thing I see in multiplayer on xbox are the drone spammers, I personally use X-02 strike wyvern to try and counter them (they are usually not good at dogfighting but just in case) but the drones will eventually get you no matter what manoeuvre you pull, kinda ruined online for me.
I mean, not that I'm accusing Ace Combat of being realistic at all, but in a real dogfight the new AIMs are able to lock on and hit a target 180 degrees behind you. And usually those targets are BVR.
Dont u feel corny sometimes just holding on to the camera lock button and endlessly circling/ following each dude spamming missiles until one finally hits?
Tbh yeah I do especially if it's a difficult target like that F-15. If that happens I usually break off and try another guy but it doesn't happen often
it was definitely not a bad performance! Pro tip instead of using both triggers to High G Pitch make sure you utilize the air brake or idle throttle instead sometimes it's more effective in certain circumstances it make a huge difference when trying to intercept someone. All in all nice video keep it up! 🤙🏻
Are you talking about the high g settings Type B instead of Type A? Or having it on Type A and just using the brake by itself instead of activating the full High G with both the brake and acceleration buttons.
@@WolfBlade706 I been messing around with the brake systems and trying different things. Navy dogfight tactics have been super helpful, I found this guy on who is a retired F-14 pilot and teaching dog fighting and flight maneuvers on RU-vid.
Unfortunately there's not, there is a little symbol next to the players name that shows you (in a not so helpful way) the experience of the players there.
I only play cockpit view and never do the unlimited amount of cobra maneuvers, this game should have a realistic mode or settings to turn on blackouts on over gs
Gamer_Kid_Naz War thunder? Why are you basing my comment off of that? Tom Clancy’s hawx is exactly the same style as ace combat and it had a realistic mode, on top of that you had way more multiplayer modes.
The Casual Gamer War Thunder has realistic/simulator modes, and they work exactly how it does in the real world (except for icing aircraft) such as ripping wings, gun jams, flap overextension, fuel starvation and *blackouts.*
@The Casual Gamer Have you played any of these Titles : Ace03 Ace04 AceX/Xi Ace06 If not, Only they Have Legit or Better Flight Graphics/ realistic Physics and what not
It's nice to see, some good aerobatics. I am glad, that there is online. A wonderful series of games. I started playing with,Аce Сombat part 3. 7the part is beautiful. A little casual, I think. There is no command system for the squadron, according to the game scenario as in the earlier part.
Ace Combat 5 for PS2 was the last one that I've played before recently getting Ace Combat 7 and I suck so bad at it lol... I just hope I can be half as good as you one day OMG that was epic
Game could Really use Replay Viewer in pause menu, Especially in Free Flight ! Remember there was Replay after matches in Ace06, Don't know about Assault ?
I don't know if the stall while fighting the Rafale was deliberate, but in different positions that's something I do quite regularly to shake up circle fights, usually by going high and stalling just after I pass vertical, so I flip round and drop straight back down.
Great gaming but it’s very rare to see players dogfighting in cockpit view without spamming missiles, where the player use missiles sparingly and rely more on guns for the kill.
Well I noticed that this guy could've gunned them down at certain points and I was left here confused lol. Just spamming missiles and only relying on them just seems a boring way to play
I wish we had use of our tail hook like the older Ace Combat which I beat by the way. I love the Raffle with canards. So sweet but I can use either my F-16 or my F-14 and blow you out the sky.
Finally got to play the game and imma be. Fair o wish there was a online VR mode with this for those who wanna try it at least. That I think would make it very interesting maybe the setting of if you are running low you have to land refuel and go back. The game giving your team more points for those who fully empty and do it or something haha
I don't think anyone's body can sustain that much g-force for that amount of time. Dogfighting is basically a test of will and endurance as well as skill and how well you know your ship.
By far some of the best dogfighting I've seen, but I do have to ask: How does that camera lock button work? I use Xbox, so I've been trying to figure that out, it might be the reason why I suck so bad.
Hi man.I'm wondering what button on the joystick do you press to make the camera follow the enemy aircraft? Or is it manual? I also tried to do it manually, but there is a very high sensitivity, which is why I can't do it. Please, can anyone tell me how to do this?
Hi, in order to keep track of an enemy you have to hold down the same button you use to select different targets. On PS it's triangle. I hope this helps!
I'm reletively new to ace combat and I'm struggling to land any sort of hits on people who are playing f-16c's even though I'm in an f-22 or su-57. Do you have any advice to help with this?
Take a look at what parts you're using for the missiles. I recommend you don't use speed parts on the standard missiles. Also it's best to time the enemies turns to get an optimal firing solution
First and MOST IMPORTANT rule: Do NOT rely on QAAMs. Don't be one of those noobs who can only fly in circles shooting maxed QAAMs at people. But for real now, all you need is practice. Try to start in low price matches with medium tier aircraft like the F15 or the SU-37. The more you fight, the more you learn about chasing enemies, firing missiles accurately, dogfighting and predicting your enemies' moves. When you are good enough you can start practicing Post Stall Manuevers (PSMs) About weapon parts, i normally use the GUN damage Lv2, MSL agility Lv2, MSL damage Lv2 and MSL reload *or* tracking speed Lv2. About other parts, i normally use Light Blisk Lv2, Aileron and Flaps actuators Lv3 and superior manueverability Lv2. Maybe you can remove one of the weapon/fuselage parts to add armor part Lv2. **Do not remove the MSL damage, MSL agility, flaps actuators and superior manueverability since they're the most important parts. GUN damage is also very important but if you never use it it's not worth it.*
Great video! I just beat campaign mode. Going to give online a try. I'm going to train on the advanced control settings so I can do more advanced maneuvering. This video got me pumped up to start doing online. Also can you use your planes from campaign mode or do you have to earn new planes by grinding online?
You can use all the planes you got in the campaign mode, there are special parts you can unlock after your first play online. And thanks for watching! I really appreciate it. If you liked this video my others will be better for you (this is actually my worst one lol)
I’m very new to this game, I just picked this game up on Xbox, sadly no pc. I don’t know anything about the jets or how to properly use the weaponry or which (x) goes on what jet better, I’m a bit lost. I’ve never played a Ace combat game in my life, any tips or tricks?
special weaponry are color coded, red represents weaponry that are mainly specialised on ground(though when you used by a skilled player can be used in the air) with the blue best being used in the air(although can be manually aimed at the ground units not recommended to do this) then you got the ones colour coded grey, they most of the time represent weapons which you need to manually aim which can attack both air and ground units
I reccomend watching gameplay of popular content creators of the game. That's the best way I learn for myself. Guys like Ace Combat Fan, Knight_Valfdr, Zaptroxix ect are good guys to watch if you wanna learn the game
I didnt see but im assuming that was a 2500 and under match? And what shit did you use for the build? Did you just bump up the plane mostly or did you bump missles up? Its crazy i been trying to stick with my F18 but seems like i need a faster jet for sure because im always at like 1400 mph haha i aint seen 2k
It's been so long since I played I can barely remember exactly what I had lol. I do know I boosted up my maneuverability and my HCAAs were boosted as well. Oh and I was using km/h here instead of mph
@@gamer_kid_naz4942 hahaha yeah i basically just instantly go to mph, either way holy shit you going fast compared to my F18 with few upgrades haha but im sticking with my jet. Just want to figure out how to make the most of it, if i should boost all speed and roll with its QAAMs or maybe all maneuverability and boost the eml
@@marked4death076 Boost your QAAM mobility but not speed, and only shoot when you have a clear shot. They only miss if they pop flares when you do that
@@gamer_kid_naz4942 damn! Haha yeah that F22 dosnt fuck around. Now if i stick with my F18 i guess i shall just bump up my maneuverability and the Qaams, i know it wont compete with legit raptors with Qaams but as long as i can put up a decent fight im sticking with it
The only reason I actually started playing this game is because of top gun: maverick. My dad recommended I play ace combat 7 if I liked top gun because just cause 3’s jets didn’t go as fast as the real deal. But ace combat? THIS GAME IS FREAKING HARD! But it’s realistic and it’s a game you can get really good at
