But as we saw in the previous trailer: Three Strikes is an unknown factor, the AI thought the chances of getting through the radar around the Space elevator was very slim, and still Trigger was able to defy all odds, weaved the radar network, disabled the AA and brought down a bunch of uavs in the process. The mission was a failure but you cannot argue his performance.

@@BoredLion99 that's why it's so risky cause the computer was talking about mission success probability and the objective of the mission was to rescue harling and as the computer predicted it failed The objective of this next mission is to neutralize the Alicorn and perhaps the computer said a very low success probability and since it's so powerful in the way that it can kill all it's attackers means trigger's life is in danger so he says he doesn't wanna sacrifice trigger because maybe even with him in the mission it's still a very low chance of success and failure in this mission would mean certain death therefore despite trigger's skills being in the calculation he's likely to die

If you look closely at 1:04 you'll see that aside from its railguns the Alicorn also has nuclear weapons called Enhanced Radiation Warheads. At 1:47 there's what seems to be estimates of it's launch range and possibly target sites. At 1:48 there's an estimate of the casualties it's nuclear weapons could cause. In short, the comparison to a carrier strike group is probably because of the Alicorn's air wing and does not necessarily encompass all its weapons.
