Hahaha I love the Raven, but I have to say, when it comes to a dog fight, the X-02 Strike Wyvern had better manoeuvrability and dog fighting capabilities than any of the others. (after tweaking some parts)
I swear the ADF planes are so overpowered and fun for these missions. The raven excells at furballs and boss fights. The Falken can attack anything it wants because of its diverse weaponry. And the Morgan? That's what V2 is for

Bro if it was the regular Erusean Armed Forces people who said “We tried to be heroes too, we really tried” line I’m gonna be mad sad cause in reality most people who join the armed forces are just trying to be heroes for their families, neighbors, and protect their friends. Maybe it’s the rogue Submariner’s crew. But still, very sad. And like after the drone war you’d think Erusea and Osea would be more partners/allies.
Well. It was actually Rage to say it after you kill her sister, Scream. And yeah, these two can give you somewhat of an emotional roller coaster. Kill Scream first, and Rage loses his mind and goes full psychopath and flies like no tomorrow. Kill Rage first, and Scream practically begs you to kill her while flying less aggressively.

Raven for the enemy aces, to laugh at them while spamming drones, and for the Alicorn MPBM party baby !!! Now if you have to destroy the three of them on the same mission, then that's why MPBM was made for.
Would be kind of interesting if Rage and Scream were also pilots who got screwed by the IFF trickery employed by Erusea early in the war, since it was mentioned in one of the mission briefings/outros that Osean planes mistakenly hit civilian targets. But since they knew they didn't do anything wrong intentionally they fled rather than take the fall as Trigger did. That would be an interesting parallel path.
They're hardly aces really. They have fancy planes with fancy gimmicks. Mihaly is more of a challenge, on hard than those two on ace. I'd rather fight Mihaly constantly than those two.
And Skully Islands is a location. Along with the scratched VR fleet mission, this could very well be a Free Erusea+Skully Islands insurrectionist+AWWNB. All together.
Random theory. Osea plans on nuking (or some equivalent) the sub, in which Trigger can't escape from the blast radius. This will lead to "safe-zone"-circle-on-radar mission section (opposite to death-red circle). 1:47 - 1:52

@@Messerschmitt_BF_109G_10 Yellow 13 was TRAINED by Mihaly. But yes, I also like to think Trigger was either trained by Mobius or is his son. I mean they both canonically fly raptors, both are extremely aggressive in the skies, both fought against erusea and both are feared by enemy and ally alike while respected by their rivals.
I'm ready for more questionable morals and excellent voice acting. This series has been with us a long time. I'm so glad it just keeps going. It's let me be an ace pilot even though i'd probably never do it in real life. While this is only fiction, they've managed to make me care about the characters like yellow 13. Thank you.
1. If you stop the video you can see those su47s have osean emblems on them....please don't tell me the reason they try to kill trigger is because they are jealous. 2. Alicorn only have railguns (and aircrafts) as weapons which mean it HAS to surface to fight...wow what a great design XD (unless you can fire railgun underwater) It's cute the trailer try to be menacing but we already know what would happen in the end :they are all going down XD
You're joking right? Torpedoes aren't going to take out a fighter jet 10,000 feet in the air. So it's obvious they need conventional Air to Air weapons to combat them, it's not rocket science just common sense.
i was joking about it didn't have ballistic missile launcher but it actually show them fired in the video. it would be funny been a super-scinfasi class but it doesn't have the capability to launch missile underwater. oh well.
Watching this DLC, I can't help but feel that the Alicorn submarine in this game is like a hybrid of Nightmare Moon and Daybreaker, considering it's armament, it's captain, and supposed ability to fly.
It does not have flight capabilities, but it does carry a ton of WMDs on board. In fact, it fits the classical depiction set by W.B Yeats way more as fitting the description as ‘creatures of ecstatic destruction’. Captain Torres however, is another matter.
Crazy thought but what if the Eruseans suceed in destroying Oured & other Osean cities before you take out that sub. It could open the doorway for Ace Combat 8 Osea vs Belka, where you fight for the Belkans.
@@JeffreyBarkdull obviously they would have to rewrite Torres' motivation but there would be a little bit more tension/illusion of stakes compared to knowing everyone will survive cause it takes place before the Battle of Farbanti

We are still waiting for a return to the world of Ace Combat EA-18G, F-5E, F-15SE, Su-27, MiG-35, FB-22, Tornado, Rafale B, Gripen C, F-35A/B, F-16F and for the debut of Rafale C, F-16 Block 70/72, Gripen D/F/EW/M, Typhoon T.3, F-15EX, F-15N, F-22B and F-22N.
