Seems like Baz is sometimes easy to fight with, but that's not what happened this time. They are friends. Baz still calls him his hero even though it crushed him to hear Foxy and Free and not see his name in the credits. Years went by between them writing this and Ace releasing Anomaly with the rewritten song. Ace blamed forgetting to credit Baz on his drinking. He's since apologized.

He was sober during Anomaly and the guy who helped Ace with Anomaly even said, they had to change it because of another writer, he said he thought the original version was better but Ace got into a fight with “the other writer” and Ace took his part out.
