Ace learns how to express gratitude (in episode 505 one piece) I DO NOT own anything you see in this video, I am just uploading it for the fans out there!
@@Anime_101 i think a better way to sums up the whole show is that a kid wants to find the ultimate treasure and going against the law with his group of friends and other law breaker
"i could get hurt if no one's there and the anaconda finds me!" "but i'll be safe if you come with me! so..." man, why this dialog just hit me so hard :(
Reminds me of the scene in arlong where he says "i cant navigate, i'm a terrible swordsman, im bad at cooking and i can't even lie as good, without my friends to help me i wouldve been dead a long time ago." It just show's you how much he values his friends and how much worth he see's in them.
I always find it sweet how Ace took the initiative to learn proper manners and speech because of Luffy. He was THAT thankful to Shanks for saving his brother's life even though that incident happened way before they met each other. And when Luffy asked Ace to be with him to go to the snake's nest and said he'd be fine as long as Ace is with him...man. That's trust and admiration right there. How cute is Luffy though, throwing in ideas of his own too with innocence and sincerity in his face thinking his suggestions were right 😆
I always found this line so cute because Luffy actually knows that Ace cares about his safety and that's how he could bait his own brother to go hunting the snakes.
Why does Oda have this crazy ability to make us laugh and cry at the same time? This isn't freaking right! I wanna laugh, but I wanna cry! That last line of Luffy's... DX
I think it's kinda hilarious to see what a rude, mean, brat Ace used to be and then remembering about how Luffy's crew commented on how he was so much more polite then Luffy. If they only knew how much worse Ace used to be.
I have a brother that's just like Luffy, and he was always up to shenanigans when we were kids... 10 years later, he hasn't changed, so just like Ace, I learned how to give thanks to his teachers, friends, coworkers for putting up with him. TRUE STORY!
@@tonythefinesser8388 he never said it was he just compared how his broski acted like luffy so please shut the hell up thinking you’re funny And don’t think I forgot about the idiots who liked your comment thinking you’re right or funny
1:28 I don’t know why but this moment really made me cry when I watched it for the first time. I think it’s because I saw just how much Luffy loved to be with Ace. And just how much he got hurt when he died, and the fact that he’ll never be able to be in any adventures with him ever again.
Man oda once said that : to make his Audience cry he has to draw something that'll make him ( oda himself ) cry . I legit want to know how much oda cried while drawing these . I mean I got over ace's death and still cried . That's how sad the death is .
The feels aside, I always really liked this flashback because of how far it showed Ace’s development. Like, he’s a rude brat but now he’s a rude brat who fully embraces Luffy as HIS responsibility. To the point where he’s really determined to be a proper big brother and learn manners just so he can thank his brother’s savior, when clearly he couldn’t give less of a fuck about being even vaguely polite to anyone before. *It’s adorable*
The best part of this clip is the pure terror that is child Luffy giving rude and incorrect suggestions to Ace on how to show gratitude, I LOVE KID LUFFY SO MUCH lol
that’s why makino broke down in front of garp and ran when dadan said that it was luffy who was having the hardest time (feeling the most pain) when ace died because they all knew how much luffy loved his brother so dearly that he followed him all the time and wanted to be with him always.
Luffy was so goddam cute (not in that way) when he was young and especailly the scenes with his garp. I'm always staring at him instead of the subtitles to see the details.
We're always shown luffy winning and even if we know, how much he puts into each fight, we get the feeling like he's invincible to everything, that he'll be fine whatever happens. That's where ace comes in. Ace was luffy's safe place. His home. Someone he's always looked up to since he was a kid and someone who had a special place in his heart with sabo that was different from everyone else...man, oda sure knows how to hit that spot
can we talk about in alabasta arc when luffy use gomu gomu no racket and smoker, ace cause a hole (yeah ik it is luffy’s fault) in the restaurant then when ace stands and see’s a family eating together. He bow and idk what he says but He show respect, i think he says “please excuse me” or “sorry to disturb your meal”…. oh makino-san thanks to youuu🥰🥰🥰🥰
