I love that Oda never made Hancock nice after falling for Luffy. She's still proud and ruthless, she just also happens to melt into a puddle when she looks at him. It's so endearing.
I am anxiously awaiting the day Sanji finds out that Hancock is in love with Luffy and he is so oblivious to it. That will be an epic moment in anime/manga history xD
Boa is better for Luffy because she'll let him do whatever the hell he wants. Luffy wants to have "the most freedom in the world" (his definition of the Pirate King), and Boa would give him exactly that.
Psionic I would love to ship them together I really think fluffy deserves the most beautiful woman ever with all he been through fighting dinousars to fighting the very government system itself XD.
Rusher0229 there's also one other thing. A pirate king's wife isn't necessarily called a pirate queen because even after knowing about rogue, no one calls her the pirate queen. Nobody says rogue is the pirate queen in one piece universe. So, even if they don't call hancock pirate queen in OP universe even after marrying luffy, she'll atleast have her current nickname of kaizoku jotei or pirate empress.
I love Boa Hancock more than any other female character. She beats out Nami and Robin. but in all seriousness, it's hard to believe that Kotono Mitshuishi the voice of Sailor Moon/tsukino usagi voices Boa hancock too. I could hardly recognize her at first. That just goes to show how talented she really is. Which makes me love her even more.
The way she acts like the tragic victim, the way she bit her cuff to stifle her longing, even when all the marines instantly got mohawks from their shock... outstanding!
The way she acts around him is adorable. Luffy better get some brains and balls. She should join the Staw Hats. But what's more entertaining is when she physically meets the crew.
I think the author of One Piece said he doesn't want the crew dating each other. If she joins the crew, you may as well be sinking your ship, so to speak.
+Goku Son What? Like I said, this was filler. And Hancock has ever seen Luffy's poster before at least until after they met, since Hancock didn't know who he was
I personally have a theory about why Luffy has such a fondness for meat. We all know he's got a body made out of rubber, right? So it's reasonable to assume that his muscles must be elastic. When people perform strenuous exercise, their muscle fibers tear, and are gradually repaired and made bigger and stronger than they were before (this is how muscle is built up thru exercise). It's only a hunch, but I'm guessing that maybe all the stretching Luffy does with his Gum Gum powers has a similar effect on his muscles, but he doesn't feel any pain (e.g. aching muscles) because he can still stretch his muscles (and his entire body) freely, even if they're torn from all the natural exercise he gets thru fighting the villains of the Grand Line. If that's the case, then it stands to reason that he'd need a steady intake of protein in order for his body to keep rebuilding his muscle mass. The cravings for meat that he constantly has are his body's way of making sure he gets enough protein. I'm also betting that the reason Luffy is able to eat like a pig (as seen at 0:04) yet ultimately manages to retain a slim body is also due to his rubber body-- all the exercise he gets probably burns up all the energy he gets from his food much faster than it would for an ordinary human (this would also explain why he eats so much in general). Either that, or he somehow has the ability to stretch his body back into its regular proportions after one of his pig-out eating sessions. TL;DR Science, bitches. Science and One Piece. XD (ScrewYouGooglePlus) PS: 0:26 Hancock, you're letting your imagination run away from you... _again_...
I think the opposite yes luffy stretches alot but his powers alot Im to do that do there is no reason to believe his muscles will tear because they can also stretch
I don't really get why so many people don't seem to like this. She is a good ally, she is strong, the empress of amazon lily, and she is committed to protecting Luffy as best she can no matter the consequences. I like her. She put smoker in his place which personally I fucking love, and she had a funny moment of destroying a pacifista when it said her name whilst she was fantasying about Luffy. Frankly I love her and I love amazon lily, awesome allies for Luffy, sanji would die though.
@@shikhar2327 What? Why would he want a weak women just because he is dumb.He probably just wants someone who has the same ideals of being free and boa does have those ideals as being a former slave
You never know-- she just might end up joining them at some point in the future within the manga. Here's hoping Oda decides to make it happen... * fingers crossed *
That's true. But still, it would've been hilarious to see her obsess over Luffy at some points in every episode. :P She'd be like one of those fan girls, EVERY anime needs! :D
mustafizur123 Well, like I said, you never know. For one thing, Oda's already established that all of Amazon Lily's previous empresses perished from "Love-burn" after they fell in love with men who they were forced to be separated from. Elder Nyon said it herself: Boa would be saving her own life by answering the Warlord Summons and going with Luffy to Impel Down. She may end up asking to join Luffy at some point, in order to spare herself from sharing the same fate as her predecessors. If Luffy were made aware of her situation, I'm sure he'd agree to take her on-board with his other crew-members-- after all, he may not reciprocate Boa's feelings for him (at least not at the moment), but he's not the type who'd be so heartless that he'd ignore what would potentially be a life-or-death situation for someone he considered as a friend (such as Hancock). Besides, it'd be hilarious to see how Brook and Sanji would react to her presence aboard the Thousand Sunny. Personally, I think the following scenario wouldn't be too far-fetched: * Boa Hancock has just been accepted by Luffy to join him and his crew on the Thousand Sunny, and she has boarded their ship for the first time * Brook: My goodness, you are simply gorgeous, my dear lady. Please, would you be so kind as to show me your pa--* he gets cut off abruptly by Nami slamming him to the ground with a hand-chop to the head * Nami: DON'T EVEN *THINK* ABOUT IT, YOU PERVY BASTARD!! Sanji: * going into his swirly-legged love-struck state * HANCOCK, MY DARLING, YOU ARE TRULY A DIVINE BEAUTY! I WOULD BE DELIGHTED TO SHOW YOU AROUND THE SHIP, O BEAUTIFUL GODDESS! * attempts to grasp her hands while staring at her romantically (or staring at her with his retarded love-daze face) * Hancock: * delivers a kick to his face, knocking him silly * Unhand me, you fool! How dare you try to lay hands upon me...? The only man who will ever touch me so... * goes into shy, lovestruck schoolgirl mode, her hands clasped against her cheeks * ...is my one true love! My darling Luffy-kins! (She calls him "Luffy-kun" in the Japanese version, so I figure that "Luffy-kins" would be the most fitting English counterpart for her pet name for Luffy) The rest of the Straw hats: O_______________O WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA?????!!!!! Sanji:@A@* glances alternately at Luffy and Boa Hancock several times, with a growing expression of shocked disbelief on his face * Wha...? Buh...? You...? He...? *_HUH_*??!! * cut to a black silhouette of Sanji's body, where a pink heart is visible in the center of his chest. It suddenly starts to violently crack straight down its middle, before finally shattering. * * Cut back to the normal view of Sanji, who is now slumped on the ground, sobbing gently, with streams of tears falling from his eyes as he softly pounds the ground with his fist * Sanji: I'm a failure as a man... A FAILURE...! (End Scene) LOL, like I said-- you never know. We can only hope. ;)
1. She is a Pirate Empress 2. She is a Shichubaki. She ain't giving up her title to be a normal regular Straw Hat member. If anything she'll force Luffy to marry her.
Buggy D. Clown is it obvious he take his notes while he saw many his crew got pertrify because someone there is stoaway in her room..and he report to his superior...
I think the best part about this scene that I didn't realize before is that when the marine said "if that was her, then I'll shave myself a mohawk" they then proceed to lose all their hair and grow mohawks 😂
Josh Paterson no exactly. Though their temper is the same, Chichi can holdsa grudge while Hancock has mood swings. Hancock can be angry one minute and all lovey dovey the next.
i think people want the hancock and luffy thing not just because she is in love with him but also like boa is one of the most (if not the MOST) powerful female pirates in OP at the moment and it's like the idea of a power couple in the OP world would be cool since we haven't yet seen one like that because of the lack of romance. But I think them as a couple does not necessarily have to be like 'romantic' it can be powerful and feared and pretty sure they would make some strong ass kids tbh
Also helps that they’re both hilarious as hell, Hancock puts up with luffys shit and antics, let’s him do what he wants, she’s powerful as hell and can protect not only herself but can protect him as well. She was also there for him through one of the biggest events of his life (Ace) and went above and beyond to help him. And it’s super cute how she acts when she’s around him. I think they’ll end up being together if One piece does end up with any romantic pairings. It’s kinda a pattern in anime too. Seems like the main characters always end up with the girls that started off having a one sided love (Hinata and Naruto, Sakura & Sasuke, Chi-chi and Goku, Orihime and Ichigo, etc). Also Oda has said that there will be no romance between the straw hat characters and they are simply in love with adventure. So we know for sure that Luffy wouldn’t end up with Nami or Robin if Oda does choose to put romance into the show.
@@4zn4ngelz Sth you need to know is that those one sided ships weren't obvious to the mc, Goku didn't know, Naruto didn't know... But Luffy knows and he's rejected her, he's not into her... Oda literally said their relationship is for comedic relief... Luffy has way better chemistry with Nami imo
when you are mature enough you will understand why Hancock always acts haughtily. You will realise the more people treated you like shit in the past, the more you want to be haughty against the world; but deep down inside, you do it just because you feel insecure
ahahaha they said they will shave their hair into a Mohawk if she really said that.. but they got so shocked when she said it that they didn't even need to shave their hair.. it automatically became mohawks..
Ah, I cracked up real hard when the jazzy romantic music played over Hancock. Hhhh she’s so in love with luffy even while eating like an Amazonian snake 😂😂😂😭
boa honcock = most perfect ideal wife a man could ask for, she hot, caring, she can cook, and does not rely on luffy to protect her like how all the girls in other mangas do. she's perfection.
