Jenny can sure sing too, but Linn's voice has this natural echoing layers to it, so mystique that makes it really pleasant to listen to.

I’m 47 now but at 17 Ace of Base was my guilty pleasure after getting one look at Linn. I’d come home early from a night out stoned & just want to see her on my VHS Ace of Base home video given to me by my buddy who worked at K-Mart.

The genius of this group is despite the music being so basic and follows a simple powerful beat with a tiny percentage of a very simple, repetitive yet slightly catchy keyboard riff, what really makes the songs and the big hits these guys had was the arrangement of the very sexy vocals, but mainly the terrific melody in the singing. That's what really does it. The singing really elevates that simple beat and small amount of music to another level.

I agree. Also the girls are very in-tune, including some non-trivial phrasing, and it feels like no auto-tune shit was used.

I think it was Linn voice which makes it a very unique album. After she left Ace of base was just Base without an ACE

It was dance music. For that time that was really all you needed because the sound was fresh and dance-able. Then you throw in a beauty like Malin with her pop vocals and it's perfect. Or should I say Jenny and her are perfect. They compliment each others voice very well.

I love the way linn fills out the pants she's wearing around the 6:14 mark as she & sis walk by! 😘 Cool to know they're from Gothenburg. I was there in the 2nd week of july in 2018 during a cruise and went to the volvo museum. It was like a 2 minute walk from the boat and was very neat!👍

Кожанные куртки...😆 Оказывается, не только в России они были на пике популярности. И то, как они ходили по рынку очень напомнило российские блошиные рынки 90-х. 😊 Я на таком рынке и купил первую кассету с песнями группы Ace of Base.
