Ace (WIN-4 Wollongong) 1984 

I first remember discovering Win TV in 1985 when I was 8 years old (I have always lived in the Western Sydney area). They seemed to have a good mix of shows from all the major networks and sometimes were actually a better option. For example, they would show new episodes of Family Ties before Channel 7 would. I remember watching Space Ace too

Was it always just called "Ace"? I always thought that it was "Space Ace". I remember calling it that and so does my mother (who is the only other person I know of that remembers this show). Was that the pelican's name maybe? Anyway, I remember always watching this in the 1980s. One of the cartoons I remember them airing during the show was "Muppet Babies". It was also around this time that Steven Jacobs hosted a "Kids News" segment on WIN TV (as he is a Wollongong boy himself). The 1980s were a great time to be a young kid! :)
