At 9:09 you got Left 6 meter and down 58 meter. Lets say i get that information and i am in a mortar team (or a m119, etc) without a direct line of sight. How do i tranlate that (L6 D58) into azimuth and elevation to correct that shot in my mortar sight?
Its going to depend on how far youre shooting. Taking distance off is fairly easy because you can equate it to the tange charge you got your original mil range from. Usually on the fly ill just adjust a half degree for every 10 meters left or right
I’ve installed ace3, but I have nothing at all in interact menu under equipment. I press I for inventory but no microdagr at all. How do I get it? search all over google no answer, need help.
@@CrewDogGamer ok thanks, i'll go back in a try again. I was able to go into editor selected a NATO Cargo NET Crate, but didn't do anything but selected a rifleman. Are you saying that rifleman is the object i should've assigned the arsenal to?
I've been playing Arma 3 for years, suddenly the Vector 21 Nite will not range or do anything. I've tried to connect to the microdagr, and it seems to connect (gives coordinate readings, but I can't get the red circle to come up at all, no matter what keybinding I use. I've tried going through my bindings already to see if anything was conflicting, the only thing I could find was in standard control settings had Laze Range set to R, which I removed to try that, but no good. Any ideas?
@@CrewDogGamer Yeah all my mods are current. I've been playing with the same mod list for over 2 years with no issues. I created a custom mission with the exact same mod list I use twice a week on my milsim group, and when playing that mission, none of the rangefinders work at all. Any ideas?
