Well … Acedeck are positioning themselves to be the DIY killer. Those kinda of specs and those low prices. It’s quite something . Nice edit Drew. I really appreciate your minimalist and concise approach to the script . No unnecessary grand speeches , limited repetition. Really nice video man 👊🏻
Yeah I mean custom builds are always going to have crazy numbers but for a production build out of factory for anyone to buy this board will be plenty of power and range for anything looking for either! Respect your build though. Crazy numbers.
@@jimbob1496 sounds nice 👍 did you build the battery or buy the battery ? Is it a genuine dIY by you versus a builder? The nuances make a difference because the procurent of cells + time to weld is not the same as cost of cells + cost of welding + cost of test ,config etc. you see where I’m going . For a schmuck like me , I have to pay a builder
Bro your reviews are pro!, after see your review and dig in the web I bought the N3 elite version, everything is great but the bushing are crap, you can help me with what bushing do you change I need to made that upgrade asap on mine, keep rocking 🤘
Thanks for checking out the video my man! I’d be happy to help out with bushings. It was the first thing I changed on mine as well! Makes the world of difference!
@@DrewElia thanks mate, I bought today venom hpf barrel 93A (green) on front now feel very good on front truck, In rear truck I put the oem white bushing supose to be 95A..., but dont feel good at hi speed ( 25+ mph) start wobbling, I weight 185lbs, what do you think to try hpf 95a or 97a venom brand?
@@madmaikol8612 that’s what I have as my set up, 93 rear 90 up front. But I keep playing with those. I loved the feeling of 90a all around as well when I was in Vegas
Hey Drew I saw your video on the Nomad N3 & I was amazed with this board. So at 68 years old I now can skateboard with my grandson. Keep doing great videos!👍
Wow. I don’t know what to say, that’s absolutely AMAZING. You sir are an electric legend! That’s what I’m talking about thank you so much for reaching out to me and letting me know! That’s so cool!
Hi drew. The N3 or linnPower Evo? Is there a big difference between the gear drive 4.3 vs 4.0. I like the options and accessories on the N3, most importantly the lights and larger battery . Evo has the quick change hubs, flexible deck, and trampa style bushings. The price is not a big deal and will be mostly riding on pavement/asphalt. Which one do you recommend?
Hello! Honestly two totally different boards. Mainly for the reasons you named already! n3 is a street king, high performance ESC, large battery, lights, all of the creature features you’re looking for the Linnpower is an incredible on and off road beast, with available bindings option, trucks that can be swapped out for trampa off roading, they have more of the DIY enthusiasts in mind. The deck is wide and flexible and personally if you’re looking g at this I would go with the bigger battery just for range reasons, 14/4 Samsung 50s with 1000wh is a great big battery. Overall you choose two incredibly fantastic boards. If you’re strictly street and pavement. The N3 has a bit of the advantage, and the 14/6p battery with the p42a Molicel is a great power to performance delivery in my opinion. Linnpower did an incredible job with their first board fitting nicely into the off-roading DIY spec list. I truly love their product for the fit and finish is absolutely awesome. They took their time with making their first board properly and it shows in all of the customs finishes. You won’t be disappointed with either choice, what do you think you want to go with?
@@DrewElia thanks for the super quick response! Will be making the purchase for one or the other, today. And of course, be using your affiliate code(s). I’ll keep you updated and thanks again!
@@DrewElia Hey Drew, I ended up choosing the AceDeck N3. Used your code: ACEDREW Thanks for what you do for the esk8 community. My thoughts were: On the N3 Initially, I didn’t want to pay the extra for larger battery. I’m coming from an Onsra Challenger Direct Drive on 107mm ABEC wheels. I prefer a stiffer board and going downhill on rough roads would be better for me, in respects to stability. The AT wheels on the N3 would be fine for what I’ll be riding on; normal street pavement, rough asphalt, compacted gravel, and sidewalks with control joints. I see more 3rd party light options on the N3; I do most of my riding at night. More bushing options also. Everyone raves about the LinnPower’s dedication to their product and customers. That is a big deal for me and highly considered them because of that. They also partner with AceDeck. Side note, Onsra has great support too. And hopefully AceDeckBoards is the same traits as the two mentioned.
Congratulations!!! That’s awesome! Such a killer choice! You’re going to love the ride feel and smooth power of the N3! The grip over all of those terrain will be totally fine on the AT style wheels. Even better than your thane wheels before. Enjoy the new board and come back when you get it and let me know what you think! That S+ mode is a rocket so hold on tight!
Good video, the new format is nice. Its dope to see ur channel grow in all sorts of areas. Duuuuude this board looks like a winner forsure, id take this over a hoyt dadbod or tabor aannnyyyday!!
Acedeck is highly underrated. I can pretty much ride any board I want and choose to ride both the X1 and X3 all the time. The new Nomad is a no brainer!
yeah, thats amazing! honesly i love the gear drive but with belt you can swap out pulley to gear it how you want to, acedeck is always amazing like that full filling a need that the community is asking for, make sure to use ACEDREW at checkout to save a few bucks and support the channel!
Subbed! I love my B-one Titan, but now I want one of these for the decreased turning radius while maintaining stability (it sounds like this is the case). I really don't need any more power (or honestly see the point in it). Any idea how the range and weight compares with their two model options? And which model would you buy, and why?
The X3 gear drive isn't really a "race board" in the sense of a track race board. it goes really fast but with urethane wheels as the preferred wheel for it wont be the best option out there. the N3 though, I raced that last year and went from novice class the previous year and jumped over sportsman class and landed into advanced class with no real racing practice at all haha. just goes to show you how powerful the board is and with some skill you can place in a higher class!
@@DrewElia I could never get those boosted 105 clones to break grip that's why I thought they might be a half way decent choice. It looked like it handled aggressively with that slightly shorter wheelbase and was mega stable with the split angle tkps. That's what was going through my mind. I'm trying to order a stinger right now (with your affiliate code 😉) and I'm having trouble because Tynee Board doesn't want to accept my paycard I have for work. That clearance sale is nuts on the N1 But it's like, I don't want to have to buy a non skate shoe to accommodate that stupid huge W concave. Thank goodness they fixed it on the N3. Also if I'm going to have a long stiff deck, ide rather it be carbon. With wood your getting the worst of both worlds with it being stiff AND extra heavy. Where with carbon at least it's lightweight and more durable. I personally think they made the N3 look like too much of an off roader. It would also be so much better if they used 150mm tires instead. Since it's primarily a street board the extra big tires dont seem necessary.
Yeah, I mean people definitely raced in 105 wheels at Esk8con but traction was slippery for enough AT wheels this past year. I skipped out on a few tight corners! The stinger is awesome WAAH PAAH machine! Love that power and range! The n1 is a deal and a half, but yes the N3 is everything that we loved about the n1 just elevated. Range, power, upgraded deck. Very nice
*Phenominal edit* 🤟🏽⚡️⚡️🤟🏽 I'm really diggin the colour choices on this one. Man, that angle showin all the other boards in the back 🤩 Must be a hard life 😂
Did I miss your comment on actual range you experienced? TBH, I'm wanting something that I (200#rider) can ride in mildly hilly region, on s+ cruising and hammering that torque for over 30mi. ATM, I hammer my hurricane on speed mode 4 for around 16-17mi. Range anxiety. I'd love more power with double the range. I feel like this could be the one, but real world range report from someone who blasts throttle that's NOT 145# would be nice.
So I didn’t actually, I’ve been testing this more for my racing track board. I’m riding this at esk8con. So I’ve been testing launching and fast tight turning. That being said, half battery at 26 miles on the clock, I wouldn’t sought mid 30s in rage easily for this board. Pending how heavy you are, riding style, terrain ect ect
Dang mane! This one is lookin like one heck of an all around package!! I WAS gonna get an N1 here soon.....BUT i think I now have a different board to get. Thanks man! Great video as always, and highly informative on ALOT of details. Best Eskate channel out there in my opinion. I even remember telling you that you hit the ground running with this channel
I like it but I don't need any more than I already have with my Nomad N1 with Moli / gear drive. That new 2 in1 Nomad N1 with the Mad Wheels Looks sweet.
yeah, if you have a N1, you're not missing out on the power aspect, but the range on this board will be something people will want if they were lacking in that area. the mad wheels are a very nice touch
i wish they made the tubeless hota's at 200mm. you lose a few mph in top speed going down to 180mm. Would also be amazing if they made 225 to 250mm tires for faster speeds. Also curious about the choice to use 50e samsung batteries on the elite version. Apparently has a lot of sag compared to batteries like p42a, 50s, and 40t. I suppose because of how big the battery pack is it may not make a difference to use 50e in this case, however. Great video! Keep it up!
These aren’t tubeless tires they have tubes inside of them and I got 35mph on them which was fast enough for me haha. The p42a is a perfect sweet Spot of range and power in my opinion.
@@DrewElia I mean you can put tubes in them if you want, but the 180mm hota's are tubeless. The 200mm require tubes. They don't ship tubes with the x1, its the same tire, so it's nice you got a free set of tubes. The 180mm run much nicer tubeless imo, i'd highly recommend. Hota designed it specifically for tubeless and you can tell by the sidewall that suctions with the rim. They could probably be clearer on the website. The website states it can also be used with tubes if desired, but acedeck should probably use the word tubeless somewhere to avoid confusion.
@@mikeyp8778 The Hotas are only tubeless if you don't put tubes in them, and if you have a tubeless capable tire rim. We don't ship these tires in the tubeless format anymore, but as drew said, with tubes inside. So that riders can easily swap tires without having to change the rim.
@@acedeckboards Yes but Drew didn't even know they were tubeless capable tires 😂 On the website it says "It can also be used with tubes". I think better wording would be "Can be used with tubes, or be used tubeless if using the Acedeck CNC Hub). I'm guessing the Acedeck Linnpower Next racing hubs don't support tubeless, warranting the decision to send tubes with all wheels now? Cheers
The z1 is a mount board style with off roading capability, the Nomad N3 is a street range powerful beast. Massive battery, smooth new esc, very stiff deck but a lot of fun. The N3 is my personal choice of a board for any every day situation because of the power and range .
Been riding my S3 for about a year now thanks to your awesome channel but now im really wanting more range and pnuematic tires and man i am dreaming about this board! price is a little more than i can afford right now with my wedding coming up but once i get some spare income im getting this thing!! (Also your affiliate link is broken on the video)
Glad you’ve been enjoying the s3 and the Nomad n3 is definitely an incredible range and power upgrade! Trust me I know I got married a few years ago and that shit is expensive! Thanks for the heads up on the link I’ll look into it!
I wanted one too but no luck for Canadians. The US site don't accept Canadian order and their Canadian website doesn't carry this model. Even if it does, Canadians pay more than US customers.🤨
There was an issue when the board was on preorder. Did you order?.I received mine via air delivery. It's insanely awesome! Even used Drew discount code
I would say two different boards, the endurance is able to swap out wheels and gearing with the belts which I like. The Nonad n3 being 14s6p is a great battery and power output. If you never want to ride urethane wheels the n3 would be a great choice. If you want full customization than the endurance is your option!
No problem! I personally love showing that feature off and I want to do it more on other boards as well, but especially this one where from low to sport + is such a difference. thanks for checking it out!
I hope they can give an option to buy fenders for their skateboard from them. In the city where I live it is required to have front light and back light on any kind of rides even e skate
Yeap shredlights is really good, but if we can have the light that can be controlled by the remote it would be nice and if they make their own fenders would be perfect as well . Knowing how good the quality of their e skateboard is made with a reasonable price better that exway pricing
Great review Drew! How is the manuverability of the N3 compared to the N1 given the added weight? Can you feel the extra weight of the board when riding? Keep up the great work!!
Thank you for checking out the channel and video! The new trucks make a world of difference when it comes to “light” weight under the feet. It is a heavy board at 44lbs I believe. That being said it still is super carve like ride and the redesign of the deck makes it feel even more planted than before. Wider deck less w concave it overall feels nimble with the proper bushing set up in my opinion!
So, no? 😂 the initial launch has been dialed back definitely, it can still throw me off if I’m not prepared for it. If you watch the video and see how far I lean into the launch you will understand that it’s still very powerful. But it’s not a “light switch” of kick power like the n1 felt. It is strong and then once you get going it still pulls and doesn’t die off towards the top end at all. So overall the n3 feels smoother and more linear rather than a “burst and hold on to your pants till we hit top speed” with the n1. But if you like that type of power, you can map it out on the remote and adjust all the settings. Personally I’ll stick with the n3 more smoother power.
@@DrewEliaYou literally say they thought of new innovations and designs while pointing out the "grab bars.". The affiliate link and heaping praise say everything we need to know though.
I also point out the brand new ESC is the completely redesigned gear drives the upgraded motors the entire deck assembly brand new 14 S6 battery system with new enclosure. Talk about a lot new things new truck design completely CCed new wheel design CCed there’s a lot of things I talk about I’m glad we pointed out one thing.
Could you compare the acceleration, speed, and overall ride feel of this board to the interstellar 2? My next board... Like to have more range than my hurricane and more power for sure because maxing out at 31 to 32 mph is kind of a bummer and I love AT wheels... But The power I get with an 85 mm caguama on my hurricane is incredible compared to the 175 mm pneumatics.
Smaller wheels will give you more acceleration. The Interstellar is more powerful than a hurricane but you’re not going to get more Range because they both are a 12s4p set up. The Nomad is more powerful with more range than the hurricane higher voltage, more batter power more esc power. You can’t put street wheels on the nomad though
I feel the 50e cells should've been 50s to really consider the elite model. The samsung cell has more range because of higher capacity, but i still dont think the samsung cells perform better than the molicels in this case. The standard edition may be the better option unfortunately for the N3.
I have the p42a N3 version and I can say that the performance on the p42a is fantastic. we all know that the P42a is king for right now. the only experience ive had with the 50e is my NYX but ive ridden it on road, off road, full throttle and haven't had any performance issues at all. ive gotten it down to below 20% and still has pick up and go, I was also testing it in very cold weather around 32f. the newer designed motors, gear ratio, larger gauge wires, remapped esc, it all is taken into account when designing the new board. is the 50E a lower amp cell, yes, but acedeck has done a great amount of testing and with the larger packs you wont notice any sag till the bottom anyways.
@@DrewElia True you are correct that Acedeck has really fine tuned with electrical engineering for their boards! Thanks for the great review and responses on the board!
I mean both are AT tire set up so that takes care of any “rough roads” unless you’re going off roading at any time the N3 offers a lot of bang for buck. If you’re looking for off roading/on roading with extreme comfort the z3 will Glide over everything and anything! So depends on you!
