here in Australia it got a i5 1240p and gtx 1650 with 65%srgb with 144hz screen. It just cost AUD 900 which around 650usd, have to say that is a good deal, been using it couple weeks now, the more I use it ,the more I like it. the classic look making it a fair point to someone who what a gaming laptop but need take it to work place.

I have aluminium body on this thing except the inside part of the screen, is it better then plastic regarding temperatures?

Just want to ask sir if your screen has backlight bleeding especially on black backgrounds?

Looking at getting one of these. It's currently on offer at £600 (about $735). Some of the issues mentioned here wouldn't be a problem, I don't care about the web cam not being great, I'd be using a mouse and not the touch pad and I'd be using external speakers.

Near 5:24min of video, it shows pushing the screen way back will level up the keyboard 😮 Will typing push the keyboard down again? 😐 Weird design . Its rare gaming laptop has small arrow keys too. Can set right side numpad for arrow key for gaming?

Picked one up with an i7, GTX 1050 2gb, 128gb ssd , 1tb hard drive, 16gb ram for $230AUD, i ran a few games with it one being FiveM and was able to pull a good 40-50 fps on a fairly populated and modded server and had no stutters. (On low settings) honestly these are super budget friendly & pretty decent for entry level gamers

Heyy, is this one's track pad is worst than the aspire 5? I already have an aspire 5 and I want to go to a better one in performance

Mine is i5-1240p rtx 3050 144Hz screen 512 ssd 8gb ram. I'm very happy with it. Probably i'll upgrade it to 16gb ram, but it runs well anyways. Fans are a bit too loud while gaming, quiet with normal tasks . I like its sober look, i can take it wherever i want without drawing the attention

I bought 16GB RAM 144hz display and gtx 1650 variant. But I can't see 144hz option in my laptop. in the box they mentioned 144hz only. Is there any solution for this. Any settings need to be changed

why doesnt the nvidia control panel doesnt have display settings? ive already updated the drivers and there is still no display settings

I found one with i5 1240p,rtx 3050i and 64gb ram 1tb nvme ssd for £889, it’s a bargain other laptops with those specs are around £3500 or £4000

I have recently bought this and I'm having severe fps issues when gaming, anyone know how I can improve this, Rocket League is stuck at around 42-48 FPS but will sometimes go up to 180? Any help to maximise performance would be great! Thanks

Aging review, but I just put down an order for a Ryzen 5/RTX 3050 combo as a middle way to A. replace a hopeless 2015 purchased ES1-512, and to allow more of Lightroom capability. Hopefully the Ryzen will provide the extended battery life, and not make me regret not opting for a Intel equivalent.

Can the GPU be upgraded?

I am getting one with a 1240p, rtx 3050 and 60hz screen

My acer aspire 7 got 60hz and 45% color gamut but it has good cpu and gpu a ryzen 5 5500u and rtx 3050 and i only got it for 743 dollars

This is supposed to be a high-end laptop, but to me it looks cheaper (in every way and meaning) than my 14-inch Acer Swift 3. It’s probably a wrong impression, but I don’t feel this Aspire 7 is worth the money Acer is asking…maybe in a few months when the price goes down it’ll be worth considering, but for now I think there are several better alternatives.

Sound quality is really bad generally need to use head phones

here in nepal i bought this laptop for 95000npr which equals to 718.75 USD. its best budget gaming laptop. i get around 60 fps while playing rdr2 in optimised settings i.e. optimized by ge-force experience. i have i5-12450H processor and rtx 3050 4gb. and 144hz dynamic refresh rate. these are the best features in this laptop and i gotta say this is best value for money gaming laptop that you can buy even right now. but there is 3 problem with this laptop: 1. this laptop even if i left it idle will have battery last for 1.5 hours. 2. the performance is phenomenol but as soon as you remove the charger, intel will show you its ass and it lags even while playing youtube video as well if i remove charger. 3. speaker. even while watching his video i cannot hear properly in full volume so while buying laptop try to bargain with the shopkeeper in giving you speaker as well.

But the BIG question with Acer is always: "will it run Linux?"
