I just had one of these fixed yesterday. It came in with a no display issue. Found the problem to be a shorted capacitor near the Realtek audio chip

8:06 i am paying attention between 2R2 and the Capasitor next to it. i seen something came out under the capacitor. was it a solder or it just a boiled flux or something or not?

i've seen this laptop quite a few times. twice for a complete housing swap. They could have made the frame hinge point a bit more stout.

There needs to be a reality gameshow. An A-team of experts, i.e Sorin , Lou Lou and that hill billy guy bogies in some faults and contestants race the clock to repair. Don't repair in time, you get dunked in a pool of cheap AliExpress flux.
