Acer | Switch 5 

I like the background music!

They are not competing with Surface Pro devices. Microsoft shows the way to OEMs how to make next generation of devices. And obviously, companies are starting to make their devices. Way to go Acer. I think I will have one soon! :)

Love the cooling solution! Acer devices are still the only ones, which cool 15W processors noise free (fan-less). Kickstand is also nice. I like it better than the plate-ones from other surface-like devices. I will wait for the announcement of the Surface Pro 5 though. But if it can't keep up with the cooling-solution from Acer, the Switch 5 will be an easy pick. (Really hope there aren't any "hidden" flaws like flickering display or bad touchpad, etc. Can't wait for the tests.)

I want it, but switch 5, switch 3 and switch 7 are not release in my country 😢 .. I dont want to buy it from other country, ebay, or any other e-commerc because it's hard to claim my guarantee like my previous experience

When is the Switch 5 being released? You said June....it's almost July and there's no way to pre-order. Just going to give up and buy the new Surface if I don't hear something soon

Will there be a non-backlit keyboard option or a way to permanently disable the feature? It's annoying to have the keyboard lights turn off after 30 seconds and then turn on the moment you start typing. Also, is the Switch Alpha 12 keyboard compatible with Switch 5?

i knew about this one, but still bought the switch alpha 12 just yestersay. why? i cant wait for it lol i need a pc now, and this one stands out. oh well

I don't want a surface wannbee. We own three Acers Two R13s and an Switch 11.. all of which can actually be used on a lap or in-even surface... vs the kick stand which is not nearly as flexible. If you are not going to do another R13 release the patent and engineer documents so maybe someone can cloud fund doing an updated version.
