Rifaie Rosdi which version did you had and looks like u are a Malaysian how much the price for the model that you pick up,im malaysian too,and where did you get that (buy) tq...
This could have been a good review if it didn't miss the main selling point of this device. It's the first 2 in 1 to sport a fanless core i3/i5/i7 CPU design. You probably didn't realize this since you don't mention it, but the device is silent even under load.
Digitalguy i want to get one but best buy only has them in refurished and i cant get a waranty :( after i dropped my samsung galaxy 12.2 in the tun whilst watching netflix as i took a bubble bath. i learned the hard way that otter box is not water proof. i laid back to et my hair and the weight i guess shifted and it slipped right off the little bench into my bathwater . so to tide me over i bought a 12.2 pro from walmart. which was actually quite good for 227 dollars. it was my first 2in1 well last week i laid it in bed and later did not see it under my blanket and got in bed knee first. shattered it . so i am on a 11.5 RCA 2in1 which i nearly exactly like the 12.2 i had but was only 87$. quite impressed for 87.. but the last one was 64g this is 32 . but the picture sucks and the camera sucks but it did on the last one i destroyed sorry for rambling my point is that was my selling point too the cooling thing. they have a refurbished by best buy for under 450 but does not offer a damage paln which i CLEARLY need
Does Mint 18 support touch gestures? I'm running Mint 17.2 on an old ThinkPad with a pen and touch display, but touches only register as mouse clicks rather than its own separate thing, which means the touchscreen isn't super useful.
Brad -- this was first revealed to a lot of hope and enthusiasm but recently has faced some tough reviews. Do you think it's better than other reviewers have said?
really like how you showcase what can be done on here instead of running down the specs. any particular function for the usb C port, i don't own anything that uses that port
Hi there, nice vid, but please try covering the mic with some sponge to diffuse the air, because listening to someone breathing into the mic is never pleasant. Just wanted to bring this to your attention. I don't usually ever comment on yt so for me to invest my time to type all this, I hope my effort is not wasted. I look forward to more videos from your channel (without the breathing of course)
Does anyone know if I can use the pen to capture a portion of the screen as a screen shot? (Like the Galaxy Note 7 and other Samsung devices with a stylus can do). Thanks!
can I install software like virus protection, or video editing software, or does it just run on apps? I am trying to find a new diverse device, moving on from my surface RT (I know its so old, they dont even carry the model anymore lol), and I'm done with surface glitchy performance (my mom has the pro 3 and its just as glitch as my RT). the one thing that really annoyed me with the device I have now is that I couldn't install things. I had to rely on the stupid windows store, and it basically has next to nothing useful. And because I also couldn't install software, I was often stuck.
Continuum is also the term microsoft uses for tablet mode. Whenever Microsoft uses the term "continuum" they don't just refer to how smartphone -> desktop, but also desktop -> tablet etc. Its a generic term for how their OS and apps are "context aware" and scalable. www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2482299,00.asp
there's a lot of difference between this and the 7559. depending if you want a portable 2 in 1 or a traditional gaming laptop (2 lb vs 5 lb). the technology that goes into making this laptop so thin is worth the price, especially that it comes with the keyboard too (unlike surface pro, though you do get the pen instead of a keyboard).
Another poorly thought out hybrid. Poor battery life on a tablet is a no no. Why no USB-C charging rather than that brick of a charger? Come on Acer and MS, big fails there. That is a really crap glossy screen, for something for mobile use you need matte or some anti glare screen. Windows icon sizing is still the joke of the tech industry, if you are merging mobile and desktop you need a touch friendly UI. Lots of flex on that keyboard makes it pretty useless to use on your lap which is basically the modus operandi of laptops. Hybrids are the great big hope to save the Windows OS but based on the 2016 offerings they have a long way to go.
I almost never use a laptop on my lap, perhaps ironically. Anyplace I need to use a computer away from home, I can find some kind of flat surface. In the few instances I cannot, I don't type. Therefore, the tablet usage would meet my need.
He is right about the huge clunky power adapter. You would think by now they can find something smaller They giveth and they taketh...that's how consumer technology works. They roll out the technology a tiny bit at a time (even though they fully have it) , to keep you guying...... the next improvement/ upgrade
