Install the "Lazy Nezumi" is a MUST, otherwise won't be able to draw a smooth line on this tablet.

Medi Bang Paint has a build in option to correct the stroke! it's up in the option bar and says "correction" the higher the number on the right side there, the slower but also more stable are the strokes (for like inking)! hope this helps :)

I really wish Windows would use Wacom tech for their tablets, would make them so much better

Thanks for the review, well done. I recently picked up a Acer Switch Alpha 12 and ran the Windows 10 reset which resulted in a clean Win 10 install without the bloatware. I didn't use Acer's tools for this, just Settings->Update & Security->Recovery->More recovery options "Learn how to start fresh with a clean installation of Windows" Takes you to a webpage www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10startfresh. I did this right out of the box and gave me a clean install to start from. All drivers automatically loaded in Win 10.

Hi Teoh, would you rather prefer the Acer Switch Alpha 12 or the Lenovo Miix 510 considering battery life and writing experience with the stylus? At least you can just stick another loop on it replace the keyboard. I have the Switch 5. It's successor, but it should have a magnetic holder on the top. That does convenience and the ripping issues.

Would you recmmend this for university writing and sketching (engineering math)? Or would a surface be the better option. I need to have a good writing experience, no unnecesary weird strokes and palm rejection needs to be on point.

Hi Teoh! thanks for your reviews, great work by the way... So, to draw, I usually use Krita, Autodesk Sketchbook, Clip Studio Paint Pro, Photohop and Illustrator... Thinking about this.. whitch one is the best device thinking performance and price: Lenovo Miix 510 i5 (2017 kabylake) 4gb RAM 128gb SSD vs Acer Switch Alpha i5 (2016 Skylake) 8gb RAM 256gb SSD ?? The two has the same price.. but I am a little worried about the Acer Stylus.

I'm trying to find some sort of tablet that would be like a portable sketchbook, but for finished digital art. No need for any computer-like features beyond running SAI or Medibang, and saving/viewing images. Could use USB to transfer images over to an actual computer for uploading. I have been searching for hours and at this point I'm starting to think I'm going to have to try and BUILD it from scratch.

hey im a student that also needs to digital paint a lot on the go, what 2 in 1 device do you suggest for me, im choosing between the surface pro 4 and lenovo miix 510. Hi there, i have bought the same tablet some months ago, but i never was able to use pressure senitivity in ps cs5 or krita... if i use my old wacom bamboo pressure sensitivity is working. but i was not able to use the pens pressure sensitivity in ps or krita, in drawing apps like freshpaint, it worsk flawless.. could you give me some advice to move along? thanks

I've seen your reviews on the Lenvo Miix 510 and the Lenovo Yoga Book in addition to this and I'm hugely conflicted as to what I should buy for my college work. This is what I do: Annotate pdf's Take notes (a lot) on the pdf's (I don't really carry books. I have the books in pdf format or in the Kindle app. So, taking notes is a huge factor for me.) Occasional light photoshop usage. Travel quite a lot. I stay in India and hence I odn't really have many options other than the devices mentioned below: *Lenvo Miix 510 - **_i3 6th gen, 4GB, 128GB_* *Lenovo Yoga Book - **_Atom x5-Z8550, 4GB, 64GB_* *Acer Switch Alpha 12 - **_i3 6th gen, 4GB, 128GB_* *Microsoft Surface pro 4 - **_m3 6th gen, 4GB, 128GB_* Which among these is: 1. best for note taking? How bad are the jitters when I start writing in continuous strokes? (first priority) 2. has 2nd best battery life? (I am fairly certain that the Yoga Book has an awesome battery life.
