It's a very dismal, wet Monday morning, here in the UK & I saved this video to watch. So it's brought much needed colour to my morning. Love the alcohol on watercolour effect with the stenciling over top. Those hinges are so cute!! I'm excited because I was given some old books & one is stitched signatures, so I have begun preparing it as you showed in a video, ready to alter this year 😊😊 ❤

TFS, I have problems using a lot of colour, I like pretty bland stuff so I'm hoping to improve on that. I like the use of the button to open up the window, so I may use that prop. if you don't mind. Lovely to see you throwing yourself into your crafting. Courageous lady. xx

Thats such a clever idea. I have acetate and I need to get Staz-On ink pad cause I want to make a window on a tag. Where did you get the mini Distress Ink pads? I just got a large one (antique photo, Michaels), but I actually wanted the mini pads bcuz they will last a long time with me lol plus they are portable 😊

Have you played with the gouache yet? Question...are they more of a watercolor or acrylic? I got some the othe day (Arteza) & also the Arteza iridescent acrylic colors (10 pack)..man-o-man..loving them..there are a matte finish, waterbased & do not move on the page! xo

Where is the best place to purchase hinges? I live in a very small town. I don't know if I have ever shared this with you or not but, I find I get a better stamped image if I put what I am stampin on a mouse pad to chshion it when I stamp. Give it a try and see what You think

Be sure to clean your rubberstamp immediately after using Stazon ink. Stazon is a solvent ink and it will harden your rubberstamp’s rubber if you don’t clean it right away. Stazon makes a stamp cleaner for their ink. Amazing cleaner from the dollar store works great too. Nothing worse than going to use your stamp again and the rubber is hard as a rock! 😜

I love your work but I’m a little concerned about how you keep putting your finger in your mouth in order to smudge the stabilo. You don’t know what kind of chemicals are in the materials that you work with. Maybe a wet sponge in a bowl would be a healthier alternative?
