The Chief Executive Officer for the John Kufuor Foundation, Prof. Baffour Agyeman-Duah, has condemned the execution of Ghana’s former head of state, Ignatius Kutu Acheampong.
Prof. Agyeman-Duah posited that there was no evidence backing the allegations of corruption believed to have influenced his execution.

When are you posting the full interview for us to have the clearest picture of our past? This is a very important piece of history that has not been properly accounted for or told to the public in the last 40 or so years

My brother, you are just right. Let the current generation know the truth. Rawlings just made a blood sacrifice of him and the other Generals so that he can stay in power for as long as he wanted. Unfortunately for him the British who manufactured him in the very person of the Queen came to Ghana and asked him to leave. Ghanaians will in future pay the price for the harm that Rawlings did to Ghana. The Lord God says vengeance is mine, I will repay. Hypocrite Ghanaians wait and see.

Sometimes people think corruption only borders on stealing state resources. My people, even knowing what must be done to benefit many people and ignoring to do that for whatever reasons is corruption. In fact, moral corruption is worse than all.

ACHEAMPONG was very CORRUPT, this guy is doing a MONDAY MORNING Quarterbacking. AKUFFO ADDO has to face the same consequences as ACHEAMPONG. I swear to God AKUFFO ADDO will never get away with what he has done to Ghana🖐🖐🖐🖐🖐🖐🖐

Who else... he masterminded all the killings, as head of state he organised a sham trial of the generals and let's NOT forget, he had to sign the death warrant before the executions. SO WHO ELSE IS TO BLAME? And how many houses did he have and how many state corporations did he dash to his wife and cronnies in the end? Fair point is, Acheampong should be punsihed for overthrowing Dr Busia illegitimately BUT NOT by JJ who would commit that very offence in 1981. Just an unfair world.

@@TheFatbuoy I give you that…. He confessed this himself… that he didn’t agree with some of the people brought forward… but his own release from death row was tied to some of those people.
