@@om_telolet_om666 Ifrit is actually used pretty often to denote fire demons in fiction. I've seen it all over the place actually, like Final Fantasy. Good exposure I guess.

@@LoncusZhao I didn't expect that they would end up using the term ifrit, which is a Muslim belief. The name of the devil is usually taken from Christian, Greek, etc. beliefs. Then this Ifrit is one of evil name in Islam.

I’m still sad they killed off Ifrit, as I loved his design, but this scene really made him love his character. He has clear convictions and true belief in his cause. In a game with weaker players, he’d have been an awesome force to go up against.

Even given his nature, he had principles he held to, up to the very end. He embraced his own death for that was how he and his kin were fated to pass from the universe from the moment of their birth and the ultimate conclusion of the Path he followed, and he was unflinching even in the face of a superior foe, driven to face her to surpass her in his devotion to his creed, or perish trying. I still think how he was dealt with was disappointing, but this makes up for it. In the end, he was no fraud. He lived by his ideals to the last.
