Achieve Repeatable CNC Results: The Easiest Way to Set a Datum Point, Day in, Day Out
A quick and simple way to ensure that your CNC is set, zeroed or homed in the correct spot. This is extremely important when working with jigs and especially important if you have a machine, like ours, which likes to loose the zero when the machine is restarted.

Trying to set up a laser engraver/cutter for a buddy so getting to understand the problems of origins etc. that you have with cnc. Never worked with this stuff before bur enjoying the challenges. 😊

Hey! Thanks man, been a while! All good thanks, work has been a real pain these last few months but we are getting there, finally! A little bit, it got absolutely hammered with the rain so it was a very poor harvest except for the courgettes lol, we had more of them than we knew what to do with! We also planted lots of Tomatos in the hope we would have lots for Sauces and to be dehydrated but the blight got to most of those, I dont think we were any different to a lot of other people though.

Are you using G54 / G55 / G56 / etc...? I have used that several times, and it works great for doing the same thing on multiple places on my machine. The only issue is keeping everything straight when you have many locations going on.

Apologies, work has been manic! It's been a couple of years since I set it all up so should probably have a look through and see what's going on with the settings etc. I'm terrible if things sort of work, I just get on with something else until it becomes a problem lol.
