I just wake up from an sleep paralysis and I exactly had this experience... I still do not convince I'm awake or dreaming? Exactly my problem is I over and over see myself wake up, out of bed, out of room, even Washing my face and boom... again I'm in bed. And as you said, today (after years and years experience that) I just realized in that state, I can't check my email. Its so confusing and my brain seems shout down through the day after that
I was dreaming last night and i became lucid and it was so vivid and clear but then i woke up almost immediately. And then i started to go back to sleep after i woke up and i was in this weird in between stage where i was dreaming but i could still hear and feel things around me. It was weird

I dont do lucid dreaming. On purpose anyway. I have been having false awakenings all my life. It's not until the 2nd to 4th false awaking in a row that I start to be able to take control of the dream. This is what i understand to be lucid dreaming but it seems to be backwards from what I've read. False awakenings take you away from lucid dreaming. Mine push me into it. I do t practice any lucid dreaming or other things. This has become something bothersome for me. It takes me a while to get my shit together when I finally wake up. What's the deal? Am I a lucid dreamer, am I not, should i see a doctor?
I had a very strange lucid dream a few weeks ago: so I was walking into the kitchen, and everything was normal. Then I walked into the laundry room and saw my mom's suv in the doorway. At first, I was like "what the hell???". But after a few seconds, I thought "that's ridiculous. A car cannot fit in the doorway, or even be in the house at all for that matter, this is definitely a dream." So I went back into the kitchen and saw my brother. I said "hey man, you aren't going to believe this, but this is all a dream. Remember how I always talk about lucid dreams? Well this IS one." Things got a little uncomfortable because my brother did not seem happy. He seemed annoyed/ angry. So I went into my bedroom, fell asleep, then had a false awakening. My bro walked into my room. And I said "hey dude, I had the craziest dream (and I told him about the dream, with complete accuracy). Definitely the craziest lucid dream I've ever had.
Sgt. Pepper Very interesting! I have had similar experiences where I tell dream characters we were dreaming, they didn't receive it well either, and then I slip in to a false awakening where I explain what just happened to the same person I had just dreamed about during my false awakening! Anybody else experience this dream-pattern before?
Mnemeonics That's really neat, man. Have you ever told DC's about a previous dream in a non-lucid dream?I've had that happen a few times and it's really crazy.
Sgt. Pepper Indeed I have! It has always astounded and slightly disappointed me that I can carry on a lengthy conversation in a dream about lucid dreaming and somehow still manage to not attain lucidity...
I experience a false awakening from a WILD lucid dream when I was in my dad’s truck that was full of snow inside and it was freezing cold then I thought I woke up I saw my self get out bed to head to the bathroom and the bathroom door was shut closed I open up the door then I turned on the light but the lights won’t turn on in the bathroom however the other lights did turn on and then I went into sleep paralysis
