I've learned so much from her videos than in school. I wish I had her as my teacher specially for pharmacology. All this man is doing is read the book to us. Nothing close enough to prepare us for that HESI exit. Thank you professor D for taking the time to make these videos.

Thank you for this Professor D! I have used several of your videos and looking at this now for my upcoming exam on Sunday. They have worked wonders. My exam scores have shot up significantly. Even though I am a visual learner (hope that white board comes soon!), these videos are a good alternative. Thank you so much and keep these coming! :)

On 10:58 I got the correct answer but I was thinking flacciditu and the lungs and how it retains CO2 making it acidotic but your explanation makes sense as well

Yes I like the way you explain that the pancreas and kidneys are responsible for bicarb...so I think ok cool! Anytime there is an issue w either of those two then patient at risk for metabolic acidosis 👍🏻

I thought that if someone had hyponeutremia there would be fluid biuld up in the lungs and then the patient has trouble getting CO2 out so acidosis?

Was kinda confused with hyperkalemia causing decreased muscle contraction @ 10:07. Doesnt hyperkalemia cause excitibility of the muscle while hypo cause paralysis?
