thanks! The shakers are stock sound from ableton. That's also where i made the kick and the 2 lead samples. but the kick is basically a stock ableton kick with some EQ and filtering. A 6,3 mono cable from the TD-3 into the TR8-S external input. And clock just over MIDI with the TR8-S as master! Hope this helps

@@mbryson944 Hi, I'm exactly the same, just love DJing and making music. The TR8-S requires quite a lot of menu diving. Especially if you start using the sample features. but if you understand basic things such as Filters and Envelopes you're pretty much set. The TR8S itself has a big user guide but I just watched a basic tutorial on youtube and the biggest life saver was definitly the youtube channel of Unit:E. This guy thoroughly explains pretty much all features of the TR8. So i'd say it took me like a week to get some nice sounds out of it. and finally I'd say the TR8S is a great choice because its literlery a studio in a box. and if you use ableton to create some nice samples there are just endless possiblities.
