@@DaveSchulze to me the best option is the Splice rent-to-own one. I never actually own, I just pay enough for a year and then jump to the next version when it comes out; it comes out to 240 €/year instead of like 800 for the V Collection stuff.

@@SolarLinerI've never paid that much for V Collection... got it 50% off then the upgrades to newer V Collection versions with intro price comes down to very little. So, while your approach kinda works, it's far from being the cheapest option, on top of not owning what you're paying for.

Arturia please add phase re-trigger for the oscillator and I am buying it. Not too bad for 49€. For the people that would like a hardware version of this, various flavours exist today that range from about 300€ to a grand: RE-303: if you have some extra cash and want to get as close to the real thing as possible, with some modern additions to the sequencer. Good ole x0xb0x: Its not bang on (I have an Andy Pledger custom) but its very nice, great sequencer. Cyclone MK1 (discontinued probably because it looks too much like the TB) and MK2 "pencil case". Again not bang on, especially the square wave but again sounds very nice with a brilliant sequencer too. Behringer TD-3-MO: Sounds more than decent, I've never had a Devilfish to compare but the extra features are super useful and are a lot of fun. Same sequencer from hell of the original TB-303, but with MIDI.

Great sound, great sequencer and effects! But! Please add the ability to save patterns, for example, as it is implemented in the TB-303 from Roland Cloud in the form of eight buttons. The sequencer is really cool!

why can't the other V synths sound as good as this one...just plugged in my Behringer TD-3 and compared it. I never thought I would prefer a VST over a hardware, but this software version sounds even more realistic to my ears than the real one...no Arturia fanboi :) don't understand why the quality of their emulations differ so much from each other, plz make everything as great as this Acid V

This is $99 for a few weeks unless you already have other Arturia stuff in which case it could be as low as $49, but yeah stick with the TD-3 I guess.

De la foutaise ce vst!J’obtenais la même chose il y a 25 ans avec Rebirth qui de plus était un freeware!De toute façon c’est vst ont tous les mêmes problèmes (ça sonne fade,terne,c’est fatiguant à écouter et les sons sont moches car pauvres en harmoniques).

Roland made TB303 as a kind of a cheap throwaway box made out of plastic to act as a bass guitar for musicians to jam along. Almost a professional toy. And here we are, 40 years later.

Arturia Hardware Synths have great analog Filter but their software emulations have louzy Filters. Remember CS80 oder Modular V? I don´t understand why their developer teams have different quality requirements. Furthermore: why should I use a digital 303 when there are analog clones out there for 150 - 300 Euro which really sound like an anlog 303?

A lot of vsts are available in torrent sides. But if everybody would steal vsts in torrents, nobody would make new plugins and at some point the plugin industry would be dead. What would you do then…stealing hardware synths in stores?

I installed it, played around for 20 minutes, uninstalled it again. I stick with Abl3 because it is still the best Tb-303 soft clone. You all develop new Tb-303 soft clones, and completely overlook why the Roland Tb-303 was so popular. Because it is the way it is. You're adding new patterns because you think people want it that way, no they don't. You add thousands of effects that didn't exist in the real Tb-303, and that nobody needs. If you need them you can install them extra. Millions of modulators that nobody needs either. Your Tb-303 clones are cluttered and stuffed with junk that complicates everything. With Abl3, I load it into the instrument slot, and off it goes, with real unadulterated Tb-303 sound. Even Roland with the Cloud 303 has forgotten why their real 303 was so popular. Who needs a vibrato in a Tb-303?
