I can 100% vouch for Ameliorate. Out of all the skin care products I've ever used I've never been so sure about a products efficacy as I have with Ameliorate. I had overnight results. I also use a body scouring towel from Muji which helps a lot too. It's so much better than exfoliating gloves or a brush, with minimal effort it really smooths things out-honestly everyone should get one, you can even reach your back :)

I know this is an old video and i am late to the party but after discovering your channel, i have sat and watched each of your videos... your recommendation of Ameliorite has been a game changer. I picked it up at M&S alnost 2 weeks ago and my oh my i am impressed. Straight away i noticed significantly smoother skin and after 2 weeks there is a small but noticable difference in the redness i have with the KP. I have suffered from Keratosis Pilaris on the backs of my thighs for as long as I can remember, it has always bothered me but I thought they were just spots. I've tried everything over the years, different moisturisers, spot creams and daily scrubbing but nothing ever worked... until I discovered this product and within just three weeks my skin is soooo smooth- I can't quite believe how well it has worked! This product is incredible and I can't recommend it enough!

Hi Nadine/ladiesI have suffered with KP since childhood (39 now) and still suffer with KP. I've tried Glytone KP kit, Eucerin urea lotion, Clarins Renew Body Plus Serum, Paula's Choice, MD Formulations, Ameliorate, Soap & Glory Sugar Crush lotion and other AHA/BHA exfoliants. In my experience, the only things which have made a difference are daily body brushing + body scrubbing dry skin + using exfoliating gloves in shower with Dove bar + moisturising with a good moisturiser. It's a chore but if I don't do this, I regret it. The more expensive lotions didn't touch my KP - so disappointing.I agree with frozensky86 that £30 + for a tube of cream that is meant for daily use is too expensive for many people. Sabrina x

I have keratosis on my arms and legs. This sounds promising. I just got the Ordinary Lactic Acid and it's a bit too much for my face, I'll use it for my arms. PERFECT! Yea, logically, I thought about chemical exfoliate and this just confirms it! I like your channel a lot, very informative.

Thanks for the great video and recommendations - Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Anti-Aging Smoothing Lotion has AHAs and BHAs and is not too expensive (£4.49) and works really well :)

I stumbled across a product that is marketed for facial exfoliating. But I put 2 & 2 together and felt like it would work on kp... And it's fabulous! Peter Thomas Roth Firmx Peeling Gel is a in a big silver tube. It's around $50 us. It does not sting & it works instantly. It's enzymes that slough off dead skin and forms these like soft balls where you rub it. I use it prior to stepping in the shower then wash it off. I use my regular ceravea moisture cream when I get out. My daughter was struggling with kp on her face. This clears it up beautifully.

Some other options include Glytone, Alpha Skincare, and Amlactin.

Hello Nadine :) I love your videos and have learned so much from you, thank you! For those watching this video and looking for products to look into I have used and have had much success in treating my daughters KP on her cheeks and on the back of her arms with these products. AM Routine: Wash face with Cerve SA Cleanser, then tones face and back of arms with The Ordinary Glycolic Acid Toner, and then applies CerAve Facial Moisturizer with SPF 30 on face. On the back of arms CerAve Body Lotion for Rough & Bumpy Skin (has SA). PM: Wash face with CerAve SA Cleanser, then applies Belif True Tincture Essence Chamomile into skin (calms and hydrates skin), applied next is The Ordinary Retinol 0.2% in Squalene (she uses this every other day), and then next applied to the back of arms is The Chemistry Brand Retin-Oil For The Body. On the weekends my daughter will use a mild/gentle exfoliating mask, she uses Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask and also uses the I'm From Hydrating Honey Mask (I'm From is the brand name). My daughter is in Jr High and as her skin changes we'll adjust the above routine, but for now this is working for her. Peace, Love, and Hugs :)

i have been using Ameliorate Body Lotion for two years now and i love it. i've tried other lotions but nothing compares to it. i have to try the paula's choose one. thanks for bringing that up and please update us with any exfoliating body lotions.

I know this video is old, but maybe my tip can still help someone. I find that the Kerapil Emulsion works wonders, especially in combination with dry brushing/exfoliating. Also, letting your skin breathe as much as possible, avoiding tight clothing and very importantly, taking off sweaty gym clothes right after working out!

I love the Clarins Renew Plus Body Serum - it's kept my Keratosis Pilaris at bay... Really love it on the tops of my arms. Have to use it daily but does the trick! Xxx

NEOSTRATA Lotion 10 AHA Ultra Smoothing Lotion, has worked well on the KP on my face. Just a tiny bit goes a long way.

I have horrible keratosis pilaris. my dermatologist put me on a steroid cream with cera 've cream. this was really informative.

I figured this out in high school, neutrogena had a salicylic body wash with little scrubbies I used to use. Not sure if they even make it anymore but it worked wonders!

Can just put lactic acid or glycolic acid in a body cream would probably do same thing.

I’m going to buy these!!!!! I’ve gone to four dermatologist and they’ve all told me there’s nothing to do for it! That’s all. Nothing. It was crushing. I don’t wear short sleeves for shorts because of my KP. I really hope this it!

I've just discovered your channel and I'm in love, thank you so much for the reccomendations! I have a rediculous amount of keratosis pilaris, the only places I don't have it are my stomach, lower back and my legs apart from upper thighs, I even have a version of it on my face and it makes me hate my skin. the only thing I've found so far that works is an aha shower gel by Mario badescu but I'll definitely be trying these other products, I also saw someone in the comments mentioning a bha spray, that sounds interesting! thank you.

I personally disagree with the urea 10% not being affective...for me its more effective than ameliorate

Great video. I have very dry, itchy skin on my lower legs and used Avene products for a while. And everything Avene is usually very nice. But I went to a beauty shop here in the States called Ulta and picked up a bottle of Alpha Skin Care Revitalizing Body Lotion with 12% Glycolic AHA. Doubt is was over $20 and it works amazing! But now I'm going to try Ameliorate Body Lotion. Because you could not possibly be wrong! :)

Well I have just bought Ameliorate from Asos for keritoses pilaris for $36 200 ml. I hope it works. It's on my neck from heat rash in California. We are having many fires. It's very difficult to sleep. I think my neck was rubbing against my pillows as I tried to get cool. My 88 year old parents parents have it too. We have never had it before. I hope it works. I will let you know. How long should it take? I am using the ordinary bha+aha acid, cortisone cream, and marula oil for now.

Are the results long lasting? Do you have to do it every day for the rest of your life to be truly rid of this condition?

Hi, new to your channel via Pixiwoo thank heavens. My daughter has this and used a soap and Glory bumpy arms product which has helped slightly, I will definitely look into the products you suggest. My son who is now 20 has had slight red dots nearly all over his body for a few years, some is bumpy, is this the same thing? what else would you suggest for the whole body?

As the ameliorate is quite expensive....could you use some of The Ordinary's lactic acid (I only have it on the backs of my upper arms)? Or add it to another moisturiser?
