Well this night gel has Niacinamide, Hyaluronic Acid, Cica, Green Tea & These ingredients works well with retinol but i never tried it as i never incorporated retinol for face till now.
Dear, if you are talking about dot & key ceramides & hyaluronic skin barrier repair face cream then kindly check skin types for both products (ceramide one is for dry to very dry sensitive skin & cica night gel is for oily, acne prone & sensitive skin) both the products target different skin types & concerns. When i started using this i had Sensitive Skin + Combination & Acne Prone & emptied 3 jars of it already. It maintains my skin so well. Keeps it calm & fresh. Now my skin feels a lot nice & not that sensitive. Also helps to keep sebum & acne at bay with healthy matte look. So, take your call dear.

As far as i know, Dot & key has only one watermelon superglow matte moisturizer that you can use in day time before watermelon sunscreen. But if there’s a NIGHT cream gel then it is for nighttime skincare routine & sunscreen is for Daytime. You have to use both in 2 different regime. Hope it helps! 😊

If you are using this night gel moisturiser - either use after serum or after toner. Serum should not be applied after this night gel moisturiser, as serum is lighter in consistency & this night gel moisturiser is thicker than serum. So skincare should be follow as thinner to thicker consistency on face.

When you incorporate new skincare product, some people experience skin purging so If it is Skin Purging then you can continue for sometime (reduce the usage - once or twice then thrice a week, let your skin get comfortable with the product till you can use everyday), after few days usually skin comes back to normal & more clear. & even after few days you are facing same acne then discontinue using it. & while using the product - stick to gentle cleanser & avoid exfoliating & do not pop a pimple.
