Once Sol finally realized that Osha was Mae, he would have immediately demanded to Mae; "Take me to OSHA immediately" then returned to look for the real Osha because as far as he and Mae knew... she was still down there unconscious. Only after finding evidence she was taken by Smilo would he go on his space chase.

No, 80s shows were mostly sad cop shows, and filmed boring not pretty night fight scenes or special effects of ships.. to honestly claim Acolyte episode is worse to watch than another TJ Hooker episode of white guys shooting at each other over another bank robbery. I have a copy of the Christmas special, on VHS no less. I watched it once, when it was broadcast. I would hazard the guess it's slightly better, but there are actually pieces of the awfulyte that are better. It's like they start on a good idea, then either change their mind or just drop it like an incomplete sentence.

It really made you believe you were watching a real story, that occurred in some other time and place. The new ones, however, feel soulless and cheap. Then you stack on the shoehorning of political/social messaging, and the whole thing becomes a steaming pile of garbage. For the record, Zena was good for what it was. It wasn't pretending to be anything is wasn't. The same cannot be said for Disney's Star Wars.

I'd have required double base pay, production cost $80 million, 87%of fans won't be angry/disgusted, higher shareholder profits, and I'd start by hiring a Jr high school drama Dept. That was a problem in the first episode where the Jedi ID'd, located and traveled to Osha's location in just a few hrs and here where Osha implies she should know him if he was ever a Jedi or even a failed Padawan.
It's on episode 6 but it feels like it will never end. Seriously, this story could have been shot like an ABC Movie Of The Week with a two hour run time. This paper thin story wasn't worth $180 million, 4 years, and 8 episodes.

I used to watch *LOST* *(2004-2010),* so I’m used to NOT getting answers right away. I’m used to waiting another week after the episode ends in a cliffhanger or without answers but leaves more questions. They will dangle the carrot until the final few episodes. So when this episode ended abruptly, I wasn’t shocked. A tease as usual. No answers again. Is it frustrating? Hell yeah. Am I surprised by it? Nope. The two big reveals are… - Qimir/Smilo Ren/The Stranger was a former Jedi - Qimir’s master tossed him away when explaining his back scars This might be too dark for Star Wars, but I wondered if Sol had an inappropriate relationship with Osha? Makes me wonder if they were in love? Make the Jedis into the Catholic church and Sol is a priest having an inappropriate relationship with his pupil. Qimir even pointed out how Osha asked about Sol first before Mae. Sol did get pretty dark at the end. But once I saw him ready to talk to Mae, I knew right away they were going to cut the scene. But hey, Conehead Jedi didn’t exactly ruin canon. Yay! Like Star Wars has never been filled with plot holes? Sol never said Sith to them. Then the static with communications. Then Sol hauled ass out of there before Vernestra arrived. Sol is more Moon than Sun. More Luna than Sol. His darkness is coming out. *Ep.* *6:* *Fifty* *Shades* */* *Parent* *Trap* How the hell did it go from killing Jedis like it’s a poor man’s Order 66 / Red Wedding to becoming awkwardly sexual in the next episode? Qimir recently murdered Osha’s friends and now writers are trying to build some sexual tension between them? 🤣 That’s probably the first penis and male ass Osha has ever seen in her life after being raised by lesbian witches and Jedis who stay celibate. The Parent Trap parody from Mae on Sol was a big waste of time. As Jeremy Jahns said, Sol could’ve known that’s Mae at the end of Ep. 5 and Ep. 6 would’ve ended the same exact way. Star Wars implying sex or nudity doesn’t bother me. Didn’t Andor start off in a brothel in Morlana One? Didn’t Bix and Timm hook up one night? The only good thing about it was Smilo Ren killing Jedis in Ep. 5 and that’s it. That’s the only highlight. The show should’ve ended with Ep. 5 with Smilo Ren killing everyone. When I saw Ep. 6 was 36 minutes or 4 more minutes than Ep. 4 and 5, I thought maybe they would answer the big question. Nope. Another 36 minutes wasted on absolutely nothing. I guess Tyrone Magnus is right. Episode 5 was a FLUKE. Back to the crappy norm like Ep. 1-4 are. I got more fun out of a 3-hour movie in Horizon: An American Saga Chapter 1 than I did with this episode. Mae is easily the worst written character in the series and that’s saying a lot because the others aren’t all that well written either. Mae seems to change her motives every 30 seconds. What the hell does Mae really want to do? It’s weird to say Osha is the better character when they’re being portrayed by the same damn person who is out to piss off white people! Manny’s character is the most interesting in this show and he’s actually the one who happens to be the most informative. Qimir is the one explaining things to the audience. He’s the fan favorite more viewers are interested to know more about. But the series keeps focusing on the twins who are as interesting as the three Rs: Rey, Rose, and Reva. R2 is more interesting than any of these females. This was a nothingburger episode. True, some people pointed out the best character development for The Stranger and Osha. That was probably the most interesting part of this episode was Qimir and Osha’s interactions. But nothing to move the plot. The parts with Sol and Mae were not as interesting and then the huge tease which revealed nothing at the end. Ep. 6 is really a teaser trailer for Ep. 7. Star Wars Meg is saying Vernestra is Qimir’s former master. Those scars do like it came from her lightwhip. Meg will probably be correct since it’s so easy to predict what happens next. I predict Sol and Vernestra will get killed by The Stranger and Osha for the sake of Conehead Jedi not breaking canon 100 years later. Unless Ki-Adi-Mundi is the Pinocchio among Jedis and his penis head keeps growing each time he says a lie. After this series is done, people will move on and forget about it quickly. Move on to mocking The Rings of Power S2. The torture from Lez-lie Headland (without much head) ends on July 16. Then The Boys S4 ends on July 18, the same day Cobra Kai S6 Part I starts. No one even has their sabers out (not that it would've mattered, lightsabers aren't brighter than the SUN IN THE SKY). If there's some decent stuff in this episode...I haven't found it yet, and I'm about elbow deep is this pile like Laura Dern on Jurassic Park.
Why would that be all the damage from a lightsaber whip, you know, the one that cut that giant bug in half. In this show, unlike other D-Star Wars, people are killed when hit by lightsabers so I'd expect the lightsaber whip to be deadly too. Maybe Smylo was protected by his plot armor, just like Yord was when his leg WASN'T cut off, it was just numbed? for a brief while since shortly after he fell he was able to easily maneuver through the jungle. Thank God his neck wasn't protected in the same way!
I doubt anyone working on this show knew about Cortosis. They probably just took all the comments about the previous episode that mentioned it and reworked that bit in this episode.

In recent years, I have been noticing many young people watching entertainment programs on their phones. I surmise many would think that a TV is just an electrical appliance that enhances the living room. Times have changed.
OMG, this show is hilariously bad. He uses a tool to fix a helmet that defeats light sabers. What kind of magical tool is this and why don't they use that as the power source for the light sabers? We can play this game all day. Amazingly bad writing.
