We took a Saturday off of our usual boatbuilding duties and went to the 2017 Wooden Boat Show at Mystic Seaport. We had a blast and met some really amazing people and some some really neat things. We are already loving the community we are growing into.

Just started watching your channel and WOW I've been to Mystic Seaport just one week after you guys last year, when visiting the USA from Italy. That place was AMAZING, and probably the reason why I'm watching your series now!

Mystic is amazing. Once you get through the initial touristy bits, into the real shipyard stuff, it is a different world. Did you see the big spar lathe in the main shop? So friggin cool, I've got goosebumps. I love your channel, guys. Been semi-binge watching for a couple weeks now. The progress, while tedious, is impressive. Your commitment to the work, as well as the teamwork, come through clear. Keep it up! ~Hans

Thanks! We have seen the shop and the spar lathe, it's a pretty amazing setup! Our coasts used to be littered with yards like that, small and large building vessels from native timber. Wish we could go back in time and see them!

We're luckily not that tall and fit more comfortably down below. Not the case for some of our friends! :D (Our new vessel Victoria was a good test for that)

I’ve heard a rumor that Mystic keeps a database of old, long out of production boat blueprints and are made available. Anyone know the validity of this information?

I do believe this is true.
