It's about time! I'm so glad they're continuing on with Brokenwood. In this day & age of reality TV, it's so wonderful to have a series that's great entertainment and leaves you smiling at the end of the show. I absolutely love the cast and I think they were well-chosen and work so naturally together. Love Neill Rea's acting and comedic timing! Can't waiting until tomorrow!

When I recommended this series to my sister last year I told her she'd love it as it was the New Zealand Midsomer Murders. Glad to see that in this trailer. I like this better though because of the recurring characters not just the main 4 but also, Jared, Edward, Frodo(who reminds me of Kirk from Gilmore Girls), the lawyer, the chemist, the rev, etc, and of course the multi-talented Jean. Also loved the comment from Breen when asked for tips by the new boy "don't let Kristan make the coffee'

@@scottmckie7569 With Breen leaving Brokenwood at the beginning of the new series they may give us a treat but I think it would be much better if she (i don't remember her name sorry) was supposed to meet him after work for farewell drinks with the team only for something to happen (nothing horrible) and we never get to see her.

@Drxma Queen I just finished binge-watching S#7 myself and although I did love the new season, one thing was very distracting thru out S#7 and that was that Jared was completely MIA this entire season. I already knew that Breen was leaving the show this season but there was nothing mentioned about Jared. I hope that Jared is not leaving Brokenwood as well as he's one of the very best characters on the show.

@@DragonHeart613 no sorry, In fact I first started watching BWM (Broken Wood Mysteries) as S#7 so I didn't know who Jared was but then I went back and watched S#1 and half of S#2‐‐ weird way to start watching the series, I know 😅😂

So pleased there is another series. Yes this is like a Kiwi Midsomer Murders except better> Love Midsomer Murders too but get a bit predictable. I love the Kiwi characters.

I just found this show last year and am glad to see another season is starting tomorrow. I've been looking forward to this one and My Life Is Murder on Acorn TV but I haven't seen an actual release date for the latter yet.

Love Brokenwood, can’t wait for the new series to start! We’re from Scotland, but we visited NZ two years ago and absolutely loved the country - so like Scotland, but with even better scenery and much less crowded. Brokenwood is far superior to Midsomer Murders!

Just watched all of S#7 & loved it as usual. That being said, where the hell was Jared this season??? He did not show up in a single episode nor do I think was he even once mentioned. I know that actor Pana Hema-Taylor left Brokenwood after S#3 hence why he wasn't in S#4 but I thought that he was back on the show for good after returning to the series midway in S#5. There seems to be no word whatsoever about his character's status. I hope & pray that Jared is not gone from Brokenwood again. We lost DC Sam Breen for good this season but I'd be especially devastated if Jared again left the show as he's one of the reasons why The Brokenwood Mysteries is such a fantastic show.

A series 7-Acorn &Christie for my soul&two of the absolute history farm series Victorian&Wartime&just add Edwardian&you will beat millions of Americans who watch those series yrs now-✔️out numbers;over&over on Utube(I called direct to BBC-folks&Dvds won't play in USA or Canada)-but Acorn will!!Amazon can't stock what ain't made-

we are watching this crime series in Russia and I hope that the international audience is educated enough to understand that the character of a pseudo Russian pathologist is clownery, including all her stories and ridiculous recipes.

Acorn TV I really like this show but over a hour and half long is to long. Make it a hour long and make a few more shows like 10 instead of 7. I would like to the older lady do another one about how to make coffee, you have to wibble the coffee 🤣 Acorn TV fan from Indiana USA

can't get on acorn. Used to love it and watched my life is murder. Now it just keeps saying can't download this video. No help from them. Acorn has the worst customer service ever!!
