I think Ashley Jensen as Agatha and Jamie Glover as James are great in the TV series, as are the other actors. I admire how Agatha is initially a really unfavourable character and we have to grow to like her, though she keeps her hard edges. Author so right that we do not want younger people.
Gillian Baillie I've been borrowing the books , and thought I'd have a look at the TV series ... think I'll stick with the books ... looks nothing like the version of the Agatha I have in my mind .. Mary quant brown bob , brown bear like eyes .
Agree! I fell in love with Agatha because of the wonderful narration by Penelope Keith! She is the best @ getting Agatha and bringing the character alive!
Thought it was a Sky tv production, confirmed later in the interview. Think we all know that Murdoch Sky/Fox telly is crap. The audio books are far superior. BBC, ITV or C4 would have made a much better job. Remember Sky made a pathetic drama that ripped off the Bridge, set in the channel tunnel, shame the tunnel didn’t spring a major leak while filming.
