Amazon Price Check: amzn.to/2Z82HlB I am an Amazon Affiliate. I got a new amp! And I know what to put it on. Check out this video • Best Guitar Amp Stand
For a good 3 minutes i forgot about the amp shootout and marveled at your playing. BRAVO! Ijust bought the Acoustic A40 for the reasons you mentioned but additionallynfornthe bluetooth capability. I can find nice blegrass backing tracks on RU-vid and bluetooth them to the A40. Or make my own and do the same forna 1 man band senario. I too wish the effects went through the direct out to the board. Very lightweight amp and easy to carry with guitar in the other hand.
I know im asking the wrong place but does any of you know of a trick to log back into an instagram account? I stupidly forgot the account password. I would appreciate any tips you can offer me
@Luciano Case i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Accidently hit send DUH continuing from previous reply about this crate for double bass...turn it up to just before you get too much boom. Ite other scooped EQ plug in a microphone turn up or down as needed. The tweeter cut is perfect for this just turn the cut up to 7 to 9.There's plenty of bass great tone for this actually. Did restaurant gigs outdoor gigs, haven't blown the speaker as of yet. I read that it's ported underneath, haven't seen the port grill screws are stripped when I got it. Better for this than the rumble 500. I'll let you know if the speaker blows so far so good.
I thought the Crate sounded much richer than the Acoustic. Couldn't get any bass out of the Acoustic. Unfortunately, I just bought the Acoustic for my granddaughter. I'm sure it will be alright for her... but I sure do like that Crate! Thanks for doing this.
Could be the electronics of the guitar. A pastor friend of mine tried it on his guitar with an old Dean Markley sound hole pickup. Sounded kind of flat. My Washburn Cumberland with an active pickup, I have to back off on the bass on the guitar eq.
I bought that crate gunnison 61100d as a rehearsal PA used $90 . Never actually got around to that band never plays at my place.but it works great (so far) for upright double bass. My 500 watt fender rumble is too MUCH BOOM and doesn't do justice to the acoustic tone. I figured that's why we play electric bass through highost watts, the BOOM. I had this thing plug the k&k piezo into one channel turn bass to 8 mid and tremble to 2 or 3, turn it up just
Great ear for tone. Both sound great, but I am confused about the last thing you said. The effects on the A40 are post? Will any of the effects even be heard in the house pa, or will it by a dry signal?
It will be a dry signal going to the FOH. If you set the direct out to post EQ, you get the EQ settings in FOH, but not the effects. I assume they expect the FOH sound person to add effects at the board. There is another comment here that says you can set the effects to go to the direct out. I could not figure out how to do that.
I hadn't thought of that. Yeah, I guess that makes sense. You'd need two seperate channels for guitar and vocals if you want to do both. So what you're saying is the acoustic probably isn't your best bet to do like, little coffee house gigs. Is that fair? Because I was mostly looking at the Acoustic stuff. Hm. Maybe I'll look for that Crate specifically. I did sound really good.
@@TheGiggingGuitarPlayer Thanks for that clarification. That helps a lot. You just changed quite a bit about what I'm looking for. I'm seeing Crates for not too much $$. It did sound really nice but I'm not married to the Crate. There are so many options. And these things tend to vary in price a lot more dramatically than most gear and that complicates things even more.
