Other than being a LOT physically bigger, how does it compare sonically with the Zoom A3 from a few years ago?

I'm curious as to why this unit is so much more expensive than it's peers, like say the Soulmate or the Tonedeq. Is it the quality of the build, is it because its a fairly new unit (that will later drop down in price), is it because of unique features (doesn't seem like it), are the effects of a particularly high quality, or all of the above? Either way, the unit seems like a great tool.

PETE, so you know, when you put your songs on Tik Tok, you actually give them a non exclusive all in licence, so they OWN it. They can do whatever with it. They should go in jail for that. Read their contact.

Where does the effects loop sit in the chain? I really like this pedal as I play mostly acoustic now days and add little chorus. Great demo as always Pete!

ugh there needs to be a better way acoustic pickups are still not there .. Nothing compares to using a DPA mic live for acoustic but sadly you can't always do that with noise and feedback

I think there is, though still not as good as a real mic'd guitar of course. Have you checked out the ToneDexter or used acoustic IRs with the various hardware that uses IRs (Helix, Aura, etc.)? I think those options sound much better than this Carl Martin pedal, though I do like the layout of this pedal.

Sometimes I like a Dunlop nylon .73 or I will just use my ultra .73

You could totally use it with electric guitar, but you'd set the EQ differently to account for the different frequencies emphasised by the electro-magnetic pickup the electric guitar against the piezo-electric device found in the electro-acoustic guitar
