Acoustic Signature TA-1000 NEO Tonearm setup 

Good evening. the maximum neo together with the TA 1000 arm from which platform in Europe do you think is better in the same price category? Give me three or four examples. Greetings from GREECE!

How does one match a tonearm to a table? thanks.

I had that same arm then upgraded to the TA 5000. Great sounding arm and well engineered apart from one thing. The counter weight has 3 grubscrews to nip up to keep in place once set. Only one needs nipping the 3 positions just help with access. The problem with this design is it is not good engineering as you have a grub screw bearing down on a thread which is ridiculous to any skilled engineers mind. I put broken matchstick down the hole to protect the threads, but then it wont tighten firm enough which isn't good. Over time you finish up with a damaged thread on the stub. On tonearms costing many thousands Acoustic Signature should do better than this as this is typical on all their arms so I would not buy another. Last year I upgraded again to the Origin Live Agile, which is a better design and engineering, apart from the rest clip which is plastic and breaks. I find this arm sonically is far superior but it is expensive. The A.S. Decks are excellent I have the Thunder but even on that one slight poor design on the Tonearm fixing collar but not a serious one I wont go in to, but really kit in this price bracket should be better refined. Excellent design engineers with great minds, but many of them have never done anything practical on the bench, and its the hands on craftsmen that see these flaws instantly.
