I smelled this one at Sephora, it's nice but not enough to justify the price for me. I do have a bottle of Profondo, though, and I think it's a great masculine, mineralic, saltwater aquatic for summertime.
I have the feeling this is idd 99 percent the same but maybe done smoother? I have both and thats my take on it.. The EDP seems a more potent and smoother version of the OG, its actually my favourite.
im a snobby vintage and niche guy nowadays lol, but AdG will always be a guilty pleasure. it just smells so damn good and people around you always agree. i like the eau de parfum because it reminds me alot of the old original pour homme formula, but profumo is my favorite. i got it back when it was still affordable and i have a big bottle, so im good for now but id probably just buy the parfum if i run out.
Where did you buy it, there’s a new new version 2024 , with the Giorgio Armani name at the bottom of the name with Parfum on the top of it . Also magnetic cap. Supposedly it’s just the same as perfumo
I assume the formula for ADG Parfum was created and discarded when they were making ADG Profondo. Now they went back to it out of laziness when the bosses demanded a "new" flanker
That's actually pretty close to what really happens. Morillas will have lab techs with him constantly working on iterations and reformulations which he sniffs and creatively directs. He's obviously the one who creates the original formula, but after that, the gofers do the leg work. 😆 Multiple versions are labelled and shelved for a rainy day. But he doesn't take calls. 😂 Just orders.
Aged well. Profumo 2024. An improvement on 2023? They added more incense. They made it more denser and heavier. Performance has improved. So new old Coke is getting closer to classic Coke and better than new Coke. Sure. Just another flanker in homage to the OG.
