Great review! Not enough reviews of AdP out there! I love all the Colonia line. I must re try Intensa. I have Essenza and Colonia Leather but I want at least one more!
Great review!!This scent reminds me of being inside of a Catholic Church,it's the mrrh leather blend,and yes it also reminds me of a really nice upscale aftershave,but longevity is really weak on my skin.
wanna buy it ... havin´ Assoluta which is very gentlemany, classy quality citrus .. but am hesitating between Essenza or Intensa (i´ve heard it´s more darker) .... don´t know what´s better (Essenza has probably better longevity)
I like this one very much but because I have a complicated relationship with "Barbershop" fragrances, I find I have to be in a certain mood to enjoy wearing it.
I've tried all of these except Assoluta. I liked Colonia Intensa and wound up getting samples of that and Neroli Portofino at the same time. While I like both, I like Neroli Portofino a bit more but NP has some serious flaws in terms of longevity and price. Have you tried Assoluta and/or TF Neroli Portofino?
I used to own NP. I find it different because it's lighter and fresher but the price is silly. Assoluta was nice but nothing more. Essenza and Intensa are my faves from the Colonia line.
On another note, I've been cursing you after your review of 1861 (just joking) because I've been doing decants of it and may wind up springing for the full bottle. Dammit! lol

+John Joshua Hmmm....good for S/S and good performance? That may be tricky. In my experience this house don't always make potent juice. See how you get on with Arancia di Capri and Ginepro di Sardegna.
+8rk7 interesting. I will try it out. Have ya ever tried terre d'hermes friache or the new d&g blue beauty of Capri? I would love to know your thoughts on that for a similar s/s.
Is this ok for summer wear? I'm waiting on it to hit my door step this week. I have Essenza (beautiful clean scent) and club (still getting used to this one).
