Also, I totally agree with the scarab backpack) In terms of limitations of the scarab, I don't exactly sure, but I think it still linked to the experience and stamina of the host? And magic is still his main weakness - magic attack can destroy the armour. The battle between Reach (alien race from where scarabs originated) and different Lantern Corps would be really cool! There are just not a lot of variety in the beetles colours, and, if I'm not mistaken, the color is linked either to the alien species of the host or different purpose of the scarabs.
