Loved this! Great work! Reminds me of Erra some and the visuals with the soft voice to heavy drop and burning flames from The Plot In You - Forgotten. The drummer is also on point! They did well! Some ofthe singers voice was washed over from the instrumentals, but overall I could hear them fine. 8/10 in my book!
I found you guys recently an I relate to a Lott of ur guyses music . this song slaps an I love it . an I relate to it . ❤️ keep up the awesome work you guys are killing it 😊 . much love an support .
Love the mix on this for sure. That modern "fuzz" edge I guess you'd call it, especially on the cymbals and vocals that Ive been hearing more and more lately.
The solace EP had so much character, an amazong DIY sound and loads of emotion. The new song is just generic metalcore that everyone else is doing right now.
This absolutely slaps. Been a fan of all things Solid State since I was 15 back when Zao and Living Sacrifice were the cornerstones of the label (hence my screen name that I’ve used on everything since about 2000). That will continue with signings like this 🥵
I saw you guys with casey and alazka in NL, Sittard (Volt), 7 years ago, and guys did you guys fucking get good. this song is a big step up! I am a returning fan you could say :D Nice glow up!
Found this through your guys’ ad, I clicked on the new Invent Animate video and for once didn’t hit “skip ad” when this song came on it’s fucking sick. I’m gonna check you guys out more on Spotify but keep up with these ads it works.
@ReinerWendler there was a sideways mirror behind the singer that had a derpy face effect, combine the derpy face reflections can make plus the singer screaming and you get the thumbnail, sorry but I can't explain it any better, only those that saw can understand how funny it was lol
Poor Ben on the thumbnail 😂 The song smashes (maybe a little bit too much) but don't get me wrong I really enjoy it but the fact that a song so heavy is an acres song just feels a little bit off when you compare it to old songs but it's still nice to see a band's sound evolve🔥
@@SolidState33 Bro you have definitly come to the right place ! I recomand you to listen to their old album "Burning throne" I think you'll like it ! My favorite album by them is "Lonely world" when they had a less heavy sound. And further back in time you have the "In sickness & health" EP where the guitar sounds just look like a completly different band but I really love it. And even further back you have The "Solace" EP with their old singer and this time it's even more different but I think you could like all ! If you liked this song I recommand you the "Burning throne" Album the most (Sorry for the huge paragraph as well😅)
yeah.....seems like they are toeing the lines of being about money not ministry, and that is EXACTLY what happened with reach records. i mean wasnt the sole purpose of solid state was to break away from industry standards to sign exclusively Christian artists? at least tooth and nail hasn't changed...oh wait nevermind 😒 they have too gone off the deep end putting it lightly. it is truly sad that it is becoming more and more difficult trusting "christian" labels to not see $$ instead of what really matters and to be honest having a VERY small amount good biblical music to listen to. and of course i am referring to all genres, and the "worship" stuff on the radio is way worse. but i do dig into an artist if i like them and try to figure out their theology.and steer clear of anything i have my doubts of.
"Silent" Grey..? More like "Whiny little bitch" Grey. Unless posting the same shit over and over is "silent" to you. Don't like. Don't listen. It's not like the old style did millions of plays and sold out arenas. Pretty sure post hardcore is a dime a dozen right now, and the old shit still exists. Dude.. you need to find an actual problem 😂
Sounds great but…. They are signed to Solid State Records right? Why is there the f word in their lyrics. I am confused? From my knowledge Solid State records are a Christian record label. I really hope Solid State are not going more secular style these days 😢😮. This absolutely nothing against this band, more about Solid State and being more mainstream and secular I am talking about?
@@tryno8545If this is true now, that’s one thing, but Solid State definitely WAS a Christian label. As was Tooth and Nail and BEC. Not sure when that changed, but having once professed to being a Christian or Christian band or Christian label and suddenly not being one anymore is a popular trend nowadays so I’m not surprised.
