My recommendation is to first learn all of the heli connections - sat to heli, misty to heli, twister. These will make you a better acro pilot, and once you have good skill in acro it will be fast and easy to learn infinite safely.
Probably some difficult exit from the heli since you lost brake control but if it manages to open up properly after that you can still steer using the weight shift and C risers (the last set of multiple lines). If it goes wrong and he has no control, he would throw his reserve parachute and land safely on the beach or the water.
It is not really possible to capture the entire pilot and glider in the same frame without a very wide angle lens. Otherwise the camera would have to be mounted impractically far away, or part of the action would be out of frame. Having everything visible for clarity is more important than having an optically ideal shot.
