Interesting/ informative/entertaining. Excellent photography job/detailed train🚂maps. Enabling viewers to better understand what the orator is describing. Remember Jimmy Rogers. The " Singing Break man " 🎸🎶. ( 1897 thru 1933 ) Was a genuine break man till changing his R.R. career to an entertainment career ( 1926 thru 1933 ) classical hit. The " Break Mans Blues ". 😭. Had the good fortune to visit some of those places years ago. The video brings back wonderful distant memories😉 Viewing this presentation from the safe zone of my computer room. Along the " Space Coast " 🚀 of Florida. Currently a commercial & passenger service are 2 miles from home. It's relaxing to faintly hear the 🚂 trains horn late in the evening🌛. Wishing viewers R.R. employees a safe/healthy/prosperous ( 2024 ) 🌈🎉😉.
Love it, though there's no such as Kingman Canyon. Part of that is Sawmill Canyon and the other Boxwood canyon. Also it's not that cactusy. You also missed out on filming the BNSF local coming into town and the former SP switchers at the industrial yard that interchange with the mainline.
On switching moves they often do it so the crew can just switch cabs on the return journey. On road freights the cab facing forward is the only requirement. The engines produce the same amount of a power and tractive effort in reverse as in forward, so they just put the engines on in whatever direction they are currently in.
10 minute mark that was a huge block of USPS containers on the front of that train the most I've ever seen together. Nice production. I'm a former Railroader and I often wonder why there isn't more rail terrorism by the climate change nut jobs - there must be well over a hundred diesel locomotives in this production - anyway I guess we're safe because they won't get their Amazon packages containing their latest fascism t-shirt if they sabotage the trains.
Fortunately, in the middle of the Mojave desert or distant steppe of Arizona and New Mexico the chance of a newscast documenting the idiotic tactics would not likely happen.
