Paint and sip with canvases is tried and true, but there is no canvas more beautiful than the human face. So, starting this month, we'll offer in-studio “makeup and sip” tutorials! Here’s one of our signature techniques: Acrylic Contouring.
For canvas painting, we use non-toxic, quick-drying acrylic paint. And that’s exactly what we’ll be using for our makeup classes. This gives us an incredible spectrum of colors to work with. If you’ve been to our paint and sip classes, then you know you can create infinite shades of color with proper mixing and blending techniques.
These events will be led by the same studio artists you already know and love! We’ve discovered that classically trained artists make truly incredible makeup artists because they innately understand the dynamic relationships between face shape, skin tone, skin texture, lighting and much more.
Not sure if you can pull off acrylic contouring? That’s perfectly reasonable, because you can’t. No one can. However, we’d like to wish you a very happy April Fool’s Day, and remind you that acrylic paint is NOT recommended as a facial decoration. Honestly, it’ll make you look like a clown and might clog your pores.
