A Tip that works for me that nobody ever mentions, is have an extra dappen dish filled with a bit of acetone and any brush. After each nail you do, clean up the skin and cuticle area with the acetone. This way any acrylic that got on skin gets removed. This has helped me soooo much. Natalie does it when she applies gel polish and it gets on the skin before she cures them. It also works so well with acrylic.
i use an old washe out polish bottle and fill it with acetone and use that, i also use it for when im doing mixed colors this way they dont get into the other polishes
That's an awesome idea too. I make my own dehydrator by mixing 50/50 alcohol and acetone and fill up an old nail polish bottle. I heard those are the main ingredients and many professionals use it. It works for me and I have no lifting.
i literally started watching your videos two months ago and now have a clientele. I’ve learned basic application and designs. Thank you 💕💕💕 I am able to do what I love because of your great tutorials
Osha P. I use a hand file which isn’t so bad because my application of the acrylic is pretty decent at the moment. However I plan on buying a nail drill soon and practicing
I started about a month ago on doing acrylic on my own nails , posted it on my social media and everyone wants me to do their nails. This is better than going to school when you have awesome youtubers to explain better. Thanks !
I've been wearing acrylic nails for 20+ years and after covid I have opt to simply doing my own. I have many people asking who did my nails or where do I go... I have to admit watching your videos have definitely help me to perfect my my technique. You are a great inspiration. I really appreciate watching your videos. Thank you 😊
if you look on amazon there are some nail art coloring books lol they actually help me come up with designs and be inspired in general. I bought ALL the things to do my nails and then i sat there staring at it for a week because i didn't realy know where to begin with the design and bling. I also couldn't really find any videos on how to make many dif one's that are cohesive. Hope this helps you it really helped me 💞
Not in a rude way, but I literally love watching your videos to put me to sleep. Like Idky but your voice is so soothing to me lol. But I also love to watch how informative you are! I have been learning so much from you 😊
I'm starting my nail journey and your videos have been so helpful! It's like every question I have you always end up addressing it. thanks so much, you have no idea
I saw about 5 of your videos and I was like “I have to subscribe to your channel. I really want to do nails when I grow up and have my own business. You really inspire me💛
NEW SUB!! this video was so helpful on ways I cannot explain 😩 I was having SO MUCH trouble with how to stick the nails to the hand and how to file. this video wasn’t boring and didn’t make me want to skip it! I am so happy I finally got it! Thank you so much I cannot express how much excitement I have right now 😭
Love love love this video! I want to start doing nails and this is a very detailed video, waiting on my practice hand to arrive to get started!! Very excited!! Love your videos Natalie, thank you for sharing tips and tricks and teaching others!!
You just totally helped my confidence. I had bought the Mia secrets and didn’t know what I was doing wrong. Thanks to your video I learned the ratio and saw how many times you wiped your brush. Nothing seemed to be going right including my brush hardened with acrylic and I had to soak in acetone. I watched your techniques and learned what I was doing wrong. I can’t wait for my practice hand to arrive on Monday. Thank you!
Thank you so much I’ve started doing acrylic for couple months but I haven’t really been feeling it because it’s takes a lot of practice and still I seem not to get it right . but you certainly help me by being patient and keep on pushing it ! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Ima practice on my mama tomorrow, i really hope i got the patience to do all this! I just noticed how many subs you've gotten since I first started watching you... You had like 20K! You're one of the best nail techs i've seen, so detailed, precise & go slow showing us in detail
NICE work Natalie. I love watching your videos, you have a good way of teaching and have inspired me to pick up acrylics again. I used to do mine when i was in high school, which would have been back in '96-99 when my mother bought me a starter kit for i think it was xmas or easter. But i wasn't bad and got complimented on them even back then. I also used to paint on my bestie's long, natural nails and she got complimented on hers. Pretty soon, other's wanted me to paint theirs. Not sure why I stopped? But i have always been into creating beautiful things. Again, thank you and just know that your videos are doing some good in this world by inspiring others to use their creativity.
I havent been watching that long but you are going to be the only one I watch, you do care about what you are doing and Tahler the artist is right about what she said, you care and very professional and it shows in your videos , keep up the AWSOME job you are doing
I really like watching all your videos, your work is so beautiful! I am new to trying to do nails myself and hope that I can get as good as you. I bought all the stuff you have in your video except the nail drill I still need that. But thanks for all the great tips and information, I've learned a lot. 😊
Thank you so much for all your detail instructions I started practicing on my own hands girl I told my whole nail beds up so now I think I'm going to give me a mechanical hand put that e-file down I'm going to stick with a hand file but I know watch your videos will help me a lot thank you so much you are so appreciated❤
Thanks I'm just getting started doing nails I appreciate your tutorial as I'm starting out. You are very informative throughout the whole video. I ordered a set off wish it came with all kind of stuff to start with but no instructions lol but watching you I'm no longer scared to try it out thanks😊
I thank you sooooo much I just sat here for 4Hrs trying to get my head ratio right with a 16!!!!!!!!!!!& watches your video and tore the whole club up(I GOT IT‼️‼️) definitely got my follow‼️‼️‼️‼️💪🏽
Thank You from the heart to show me how to do my nails l have always wanted to get them done but l think about my family and what they might need..Thanks Again😚
I been watching your videos and actually don’t get annoyed lol other people they talk too but just can’t connect with them love your videos make more please! Lol👌🏼❤️
Here I am 2 years later , I'll admit I haven't budged a inch getting my nail career going BUUUUUT!!!...I can honestly say I have still been tapping into every video and I still have learned soooo much since you posted this video and NOW , I am fully prepared to invest myself into doing nails. I got everything in my Amazon cart right now ready to purchase lol. Reason why I'm commenting this is to say that even though I didn't get started right away you and a few other nail techs have kept the motivation alive to want to get going in this field and I thank you so much because I almost gave up and wasn't going to turn back but it's amazing to have creators like yourself be consistent with what you do every time I get on RU-vid there's another video to learn from . So I'm confident enough to keep striving and working towards becoming a nail tech ! Much love to you Natali may God continue to bless you ! ❤️✨
Very nice video. I learned a lot. I’m beginner and I love nail videos. I have bought my own product and I test it on my daughter. I need to get this practice hand
Good video girl ! About to start Cosmetology school because we don't have a nails only program near me and Cos school is mostly hair so thanks for ur vids! They are helpful and easy to understand since I love nails more than hair neway! Appreciate you! Thank you!
this was actually very helpful 💓my mom helped me order a nail kit it comes in next Tuesday hopefully 💓!... thanks for the tips bc I don't have a drill so I was thinking I would have to wait but now I don't thanks 😊💓
I am literally ordering everything she says she uses lol. I am a beginner I am not a licensed nail tech but I will in the future. I feel like I don't need too with her as my teacher. But the law says so, so I have to follow that. I really do love her videos and look at the whole video no skips. Keep on making videos for beginners it really does help.
Thank you so much for putting this video out. I literally commented a week ago asking for materials you use for beginners, prosthetic hand and all. I'm not sure if you seen my comment or not but girl, thank you. 🙌
