@@jaynemartlew5762 Hi Jayne! Unlike my courses on Thinkific, the Wedge Workshop Bundle was excerpts from 2 recorded workshops that I hosted via Zoom during lockdown. Because it was a Zoom recording, the quality was not great compared to my courses. Also, I began adding short wedge demo videos with most of my courses that use the wedge, so it became repetitive. Is there another course you are thinking about taking? Maybe I can help.

I loved the demo and would love to see more like this. I need to loosen up. The colors are so beautiful as is the painting. I think I will give it a go on an 16x20. I'm hoping it will come out decent. The tip about the glazing is a good tip.

Thank you. I will try this, but perhaps not cover the whole canvas. I prefer more negative space and use it in small areas of a larger composition. It could add a bit of color and texture. Very nice! I like the lower right hand side. It is pretty with the pale green, pink and white.

I'm doing psychotherapy. He is a survivor of a violent family. My parents were dementia patients I took care of both of you at the same time. Both died three months apart. It's been a year and a half since you passed away. I'm taking care of myself now. I thought I was doing well on my own. But I don't think that was it. I really love myself and I didn't take care of myself. I think I keep forgetting it. Or I don't think I know how. I don't know how to care about me. I really want to take care of myself and love myself. He's releasing me in writing and drawing. I'm really happy with my drawing time. The picture is the best right now.

Hi there! Thanks for your comment. The course I would recommend would be "Hydrangea Gardens". While you would be painting hydrangeas, you will learn to use the silicone wedge + my technique for blending and softening edges with glazing liquid. The techniques in that course can be applied to painting more non-specific flowers, such as the painting you see me painting in this video. My "Loosen Up" course is a great course, but more aimed at beginners, and in it I use a palette knife instead of a silicone wedge. Hope that helps, and hope to see you in a course of mine soon!

thank you. no, most of my paintings are done alla prima. I’m using acrylics, so they do dry fairly quickly, but I’m not waiting for each layer to dry in between colors.

Hi Alesha! Thanks for taking my Hydrangea Gardens course. I hop you will love it. Regarding the Silicone Wedge workshop bundle, I retired it because the workshops were recorded over Zoom, so the quality was not as good as my courses. I now include quick "how to" videos in most of my courses. However, I may tape a new video demonstrating the wedge and different ways the I use it. Thanks for asking....that tells me that there ate probably others who would also enjoy it. I am always grateful for feedback.

Hello! I love your paintings and would like to try your technique, I would like to ask if there is a substitute for the glazing liquid, since the ones I can find are very expensive for me to buy.

Thank you. Unfortunately, there is no cheap alternative to glazing liquid. Water will not work like glazing liquid, because it is the viscosity that gives this effect.
