Australian artist, Linda MacAulay has turned a gift and passion for art into a lifelong career. Born in Wagga Wagga, NSW, Linda knew she was destined to become an artist from an early age.
Painting in watercolour and acrylic, Linda's work reflects her humour and sense of connection to the landscape. Her paintings capture the essence of the Australian landscape and way of life. The Emu series is about those WTF moments in life and some of the characters of the Australian Outback. Linda MacAulay's award winning paintings and prints have been sold around the world into both public and private collections.
Linda’s early study was with photography, drawing and painting. Inspired by the beauty and uniqueness of the Australian landscape she decided to become a landscape artist and developed a distinctive style, which uses vivid colour and detail. “I strive to capture the essence of our country from the rich redness of the Pilbara to the turquoise waters of our spectacular coastline.”
