I love watching what you do, as you explain very well and like how you show mistakes made but also how to fix them. I personally prefer the tree ring on vases best.
The canvas reminds me of a fabric my sister used in one of her prom dresses she made in the 70's. It was a tie dye type pattern swirled together!! I really love that look!! 🌈🌈🥰
Excellent artwork, dear Mixed Media Girl! I spotted your "16-ounce" Houseables squeeze bottles that you poured paints out of. You poured, flowed and coated paints all over the canvas and glass vase. This video of yours is making me wanna collect my "16-ounce" Houseables bottles, but I still have my "12-to-16-ounce" "Farberware, OXO & Tablecraft" bottles. 😃💗😃💗😃💗
I love the effect on that vase. It reminds me of Caithness blown glass vases, I used to buy for my Mother in Law. That pale green with the purply colour is exquisite
I actually LOVE both the vase & the painting this time which is rare for me!!! Wonder if you could try the flip cup method, but this time use a 1oz cup. (yes I know not all of the paint fits. You’d fill, flip, fill, flip, fill, flip, etc) Instead of doing one color per cup, try a palette of 3 maybe 4 colors tops..that way you can get all of them into the cup. It’ll take a few cups/flips, but it could give you the rings that you like. I seriously doubt you’ll see/read this, but I thought I’d post it anyways in case others do read it & get inspired to try!! (Hi & good luck to those that do, wish I could see your creations!!!)
The painting looks like a Peacock to me! Absolutely love it! The vase is pretty too. I love that it's two sided and you can use each side depending on the mood you're in! Great job, as always!
Love the blue, green, gold area on canvas and black, green, gold area on canvas! Both have to much purple/pink for my taste but know there your favorite colors. Both are nice!
I do like the tree rings better on the vases, but that flip cup on the vase still looks pretty darn cool. It sort of reminds me of those little spotted egg shaped easter candies. I can't remember what they are called but hopefully you know what I mean. Still very pretty though. And that canvas is definitely unicorn peacock vibes. I love it!!
I agree the tree ring method is better. Can you just use the paint and Floetrel and not use water with it. Im a beginner will the floetrel tell you how much to use of the pouring medium and the paint? How do you know how many ounces of paint mixture you need for a vase and the different canvas sizes?
