Tina, absolutely the most beautiful wave I've ever seen. My condolences to your family for your loss. Seems you allowed your body to grieve and heal. Your work showed your energy of moving and shifting and allowing what you felt to happen. Every stroke was meant to be in your art and I really appreciate that. Inspired me to work on this technique again. I don't use silicone but thinking I'll use a little Aussie Floetrol to swipe. Beautiful colors and I'd never thought of blending as you did before the swipe. Brilliant. I hope you continue to honor your emotions and thank you for sharing them on your video. Tina, I'm so sorry that you, your dad, and the rest of your family had to go through such a hard loss. I've been praying for you all that the Lord would hold you close. This wave is wonderful! A Very wild and free feel to it. It's funny because most of your pearl pours feel soft and calming to me. And then with your botanical pieces that are fun and sometimes whimsical, you express all sides of yourself through your art. I'm always blown away at how creative and clever you are. 😢 I'm so sorry for your loss but this is a beautiful piece girl. You know, 2 of my favorite pieces I've ever done were both done during a time of loss, first was a drawing of a mother holding a little girl up into the sun when I had my first miscarriage I had tried for 10 years to get pregnant then I lost the baby 9 weeks in and that piece was in memory of the child I had lost then was an abstract piece I did with oil pastels when I lost my grandmother we had a very special connection and I was hurting and angry and I just put it on the canvas and it's been one of my favorite pieces so don't hold back right now take the time to make a piece to honor your brother I think it may help you heal and remember him in a way only you can. I'm so glad you will be a part of the spring colourarte premiere Leslie just added me as an affiliate too and I'm not going to be in the event yet I need to work on my RU-vid but I will be watching to see your beautiful artwork!!
