3:12 Seeing that pop up appear when trying to shove someone of that size is always hilarious to me, because, in ACTUAL DnD, not being able to shove Malus would require him needing to be categorized as a “huge” creature, meaning he’d weigh, at minimum, 2 tons. Half the bosses in the game are as dense as a neutron star, apparently. Must be all that incredibly advanced AI they’re carrying around 🥴
It is all his bronze and brass Steam-tech parts! Dude is like an 8 ft tall walking boiler with extendo arms! LOL. But yeah, it always irks me when my Cloud Giant elixir using Tavern Brawler Berserker gets a "target is too heavy to throw" text. :(
HoH is possibly the best singular spell in the game in terms of damage. Damage on the beginning and (conditional) the end of an enemy turn. Magical darkness (which I'm pretty sure after I accidentally walked into it with my warlock with Devil's Sight, Devil's Sight can't see through when you're inside it?) and cut movement speed. It's like 3 spells in one, AND it's only warlock slot level 3. Insane. Can't wait to see what you'll do with it in act 3, because I assume you'll commune with the Astral Tadpole? If so, the Black Hole works really nicely with it. ESPECIALLY since it additionally slows enemies down, can be recast for the total of 5 times and doesn't use concentration. Additional Slow means enemies can't, in my experience, just jump out of the HoH, and even if they dash, they'll move like 2 meters, lol. There're probably exceptions to this, but it's been at the very least the case with the Flaming Fist. And the illithid Flight ability is absolutely broken, especially when talking urban settings. From my experience, you can also fly further than you can run, so it effectively increases movement speed 😁.
You're correct on all account except Devil's Sight and HoH. I just ran into it and I got no blindness debuff, so I think it should work fine. As you say though it's crazy strong and it will be fun to play around that and Black Hole. I ate the tadpole so now I've unlocked all the powers :)
Thank you 🙏🏻. I tried obs when I started but had slight lag and stutters with it, not sure of if I had done something wrong with it, who knows. I ended up using nvidia shadow experience (think that is what it’s called). The files get quite large but I don’t experience any lag with it
