So, as a native English speaker, I can sum this up in one phrase. Don't be a dick. I'm riding ACT Pyrenees in May 2022, then French TET. In UK I always keep sugar free mints in my handlebar bag for horses, and in my experience horse riders are our closest brothers and sisters on the trails. Be nice on the trails, share nicely and play nicely.
@@alrightdave6135 I did ACT Portugal in September 2021. Saw one other bike on it, a GS piloted by a Portuguese lad who seemed to know what he was about. I don't think we need to worry too much about road riders on road tyres having a go at this. I did the ACT Portugal on a 701 and it was spectacular, beautiful but easy. I'd have happily done it on my Tiger 900 Rally on 50/50 tyres and I am an experienced trail rider of distinctly average talent. The Portuguese TET, definitely not! The 701 was as big as I'd have wanted on that.
@@TheIdlesurfer yes, I see you posts around on TET fb plus read your articles in bike . Will you have a ride report for pyranees act? I have got t7, just fitted tkc70 rocks to the rear and tkc 70 to front. Ferry Portsmouth to Caen and they 2 day ride down. Leave June 9
I'm landing back in UK the day you are sailing. I only go on Facebook when I'm riding the TET. The TET Facebook page is really useful for updates and my mum knows I'm still alive, so you'll see me pop up on TET Facebook. I used TKC80 on my first TET in 2019, and it is a good TET tyre but the Nordic TET battered my mates TKC and my Anakee Wild. I'm sticking with Motoz Trailz. Not as good on tarmac or wet rock as the TKC but last 3 times longer.
