ACTING TIPS:
One of the primary challenges is the absence of a scene partner. Acting, after all, is often about reacting. Without a live Juliet to play off of, Romeo must imagine her presence, which can be quite challenging.
'Self-Tape to Confidence,' the series that helps actors hone their skills for on-camera performance. In this episode, we'll delve into the timeless balcony scene from Shakespeare's 'Romeo and Juliet' and explore the challenges and rewards of self-taping such an intimate moment."
The Balcony Scene is a pinnacle of romantic theater, as Romeo and Juliet confess their love for each other under the moonlight. But for actors, it presents unique difficulties when self-taping."
As we can see, despite the initial challenges, there are some distinct advantages to self-taping intimate scenes. Firstly, it allows the actor to control their own pacing and emotional depth. They can take the time to explore different interpretations and nuances.
Additionally, self-taping provides the actor with an invaluable tool for self-analysis. They can review their performance objectively, identify areas for improvement, and iterate until they're satisfied
By mastering the art of self-taping, actors can build confidence not only in performing intimate scenes but also in their overall on-camera abilities.

For a character you hate, you portray him very well 😁 I love the lighting, the suit, the mask, the hair, the eagerness, the love struck eyes... I need you in a Romeo and Juliet movie right now, please and thank you 👐✨️

Never has a 30 year old played such a believable Romeo with such enthusiasm and innocence as the forever young Stuart! The camera angles, your expressions, the pink suit ..superb. Never would have guessed you were acting without a live Juliet if you hadn't told us. It was a joy to watch! xo

I liked so much the two camera perspectives and the subtle emotions and gestures, Romeo's tension between trying to impress her and following what she's saying. Great performance!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💖

I love everything about this. The emotions are so real, there’s vulnerability, and the way you rush back to her at the end is so adorable. I also love the mask, the pink suit and the blue lighting, the camera is also perfect. Bravo 👏👏👏

I love that. First: the light is amazing here✨ Two: the angles are giving a certain dynamic. They keep the attention awake.👏 And three: for someone who doesn't like this character it's really excellent. ✨The wonder in the look, the smile, the slight movements.Wonderful❤️

Beautiful, just beautiful. I love the camera work. The pink symbolism. Please say thank you to the voice of Juliet. She was great too. The way you played of the voice was romantic and dreamy. Romeo being played abit older was a fantastic take on it. Staurt your work is devine. You interpretation of well known scripts and characters are like escapism. I hope you read all this love and praise and it calms the anxiety.

Amazing, I felt as though you were speaking the words as though they were yours. BUT, please be an archangel again, so innocent and bright, yet viciously hot. When we Stuart be in something on Netflix at least!? I need more than these snippets.

I love the conflicted emotions you presented throughout the clip, and then that look of pure joy and excitement at the end when she confesses she returns Romeo's feelings and agrees to meet in secret. This scene and his excitement that Juliet loves him is all the more interesting, too, when you remember that Romeo was just coming off of a heartbreak from Rosalind, who didn't love him the way he thought he loved her.

Look at me, trying to act all smart about Shakespeare only to later edit that it was ROSALIND, not "Rosamund" that Romeo previously loved. 🥴

Impressive. 👏 Can you believe I made a Mantua reference to a twenty five year old that they didn't get. So I explained it was from Romeo and Juliet and they didn't know what that was. So, deep breathe of disbelief, I said it was a Shakespeare play.... They had no clue who he was. 🤦 It was then I knew the way of things as I knew them was dead. This however brings it back a bit, perhaps that youth was messing with me? Or just 🙀 surprisingly obtuse. Good job either way.

rings back memories from my brother school's (I go to a all girl's school so we have an all boy's school that do stuff with) 4 hour romeo and juliet where I was only act 1 so me and some friends watched all 3 of the Z-O-M-B-I-E-S movies. Good times.

Personally, I prefer 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'. Puck.💚 My heart has a soft spot for mischievous Satyrs. - BUT . . . Baz Lurhmann, Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes did a great adaptation of 'Romeo & Juliet'. If you haven't seen it, definitely check out that frenetic piece of cinematic art.

it seems almost a clique these days that every actor worth their bits from Englund, Ireland, Scotland or Wales had to do their time in a Shakespearian theater group, why is that?
