Hi welcome back.. Take a look at my 40th anniversary action man collection.. If you have any questions put them in the comments below.. Thx for watching 👀
That was awesome,It brought me back to my childhood.Even though I never had any action man figures I did Love G.J. Joe. Thank you for such a great array of figures. I would love to have had a tenth of those figures growing up....Great job.
They look fantastic Nick! I did have a Action man when I was young and a tank and artillery gun...Had some fantastic times playing with them...Thanks for sharing! Great collectibles and part of toy history....👍😎👍
Great to see your collection, l didn't think there so many uniforms to choose from. I had the parachute reg and the grenadier guard and the ww2 soldier with the gas mask and stent gun. Great times.
Thx for watching and commenting it’s really appreciated.. there are loads for different 40’th anniversary uniforms but they are getting really expensive.. I have quite a lot of the original stuff as well.. I will make a video of my vintage Action Man uniforms soon.. 👍😎👍
Very nice presentation mate, thanks! I am a VAM and 40th collector myself, great to see people still interested in the Action Man phenomenon. Subscribed.
Thanks for watching and commenting.. I have a few of the 90s action man figures in my collection.. they have the fixed arms.. I try to only buy them if they are sealed in box.. 👍😎👍
@@monkeysa43 I get most of my Action Man stuff from EBay.. its a challenge to find bargains but I’ve had quite a few over the years.. I’d like to go to a toy fair some day.. with Action Man it’s best to go for the job lots you normally get stuff cheaper then and you can sell what you don’t want.. get some of your money back.. 👍😎👍
Great collection! The British 40th anniversary collection were so much better than the American counterparts. We are all envious here in the States! Nice job!
Awesome collection, Nick. It’s great to see you back. The ones with the realistic looking beards are pretty cool. What is the quality of the 40th anniversary figures like compared with the vintage ones? Cheers M
Hey this is a great video for the new co, it's all a bit of a minefield! Question though, what is the sleeping bag you have on top of the action soldier backpack? Is it the bivouac one or from special ops kit bag thingy?
Thx for watching and commenting it’s really appreciated.. No it’s just the shirt from the basic soldier rolled up.. They really are great figures well worth collecting.. 👍😎👍
Hey, Nick, as a former serving soldier, I was intrigued by your 4oth Anniversary collection; the RMP set highlights the Sterling submachine gun (L2A3), tho' it's magazine is inaccurate - it should be a banana clip, not perpendicular to (& opposite) the shell exhaust port; a Palitoy/Hasbro error ? Many, many years ago, a friend of mine had a WWII Japanese soldier action man iteration; as I understand it, that figure & uniform alone, are incredibly rare to obtain. Fun & interesting video !
It was probably cheaper to make like that.. Palitoy and Hasbro always liked to save money.. The Japanese Action man is one of the rarest to find and mega expensive.. 👍😎👍
Production costs do make sense - a shame tho' considering they have the L1A1 FN SLR so well detailed. I've only ever seen (that) one Japanese soldier; if he still owns it, I hope he has it well insured. In retrospect, it was the only Action Man that had archetypal almond shaped eyes & a sharper jawline than the Western physiognomy...you might even say, sublime. Take it easy, Nick.
When I first started buying them you could get an 40’th Action Man dressed figure plus a carded uniform for 50 pounds.. now the price are crazy!! Also when they first came out a lot of the hardcore collectors wouldn’t touch them.. it funny how they changed their minds now that some of them sell for more than the originals.. You should still check EBay for bargains they do appear but they don’t last long.. 👍😎👍
Thx for watching and commenting my friend.. I’m not on Facebook.. I’ve just uploaded a video of my cosplay Boba Fett outfit it’s nearly finished.. I think you watched some of the videos on my old channel.. Check it out if you have time I would be interested to know what you think..👍😎👍
These all look so cool, I loved tossing action man off my local bridge with my homemade parachute. Been looking for the 50th anniversary paratrooper to re-live it but I can’t find it anywhere, do you know a place where I can find one?
A lot of the colours are off with the 40th anniversary.. but they are really awesome figures and well worth collecting.. Thanks for watching and commenting it’s really appreciated.. 👍😎👍
@@NICKSTOYBARN fair point, it’s just that one REALLY stood out..! I’m a WWII model painter and collector and it’s not that hard getting the camo right ;-) Keep putting out the videos, love your work! And a Happy New Year from New Zealand :-)
Yeah, they really are. I was trying to recollect when Hasbro released their Masterpiece GI Joe figures and it was 1997. Did you all in the Uk get something similar to those over there? I guess I could google it, but it's more fun to communicate with a collector.@@NICKSTOYBARN
Thanks for watching and commenting.. a lot of people from the US prefer Action Man to Gi-joe.. I think it’s because Action Man was mostly based around the military.. what do you think? 👍😎👍
