South Africa needs a person like Ian Cameron, has done exactly what the SAPS. Police minister just hid by the constitution which he allegedly did not even quote correctly and he felt over-powered by facts that Ian was stating. Ian Cameron is a HERO, a voice to the concerned South African citizens on our poor government system. The fact that he was also mindful of his language is an act of true leadership, because he could have said more about our political system in the interview, but his focus was primarily based on the addressing the crime issues at hand. Racism is very much alive today. I’m a black person that lives in a predominantly Afrikaner area and I face racism every other day. In 2022 I’m still asked what I’m doing in a white neighborhood when going for a jog or entering a store. I support Ian 100%. I don’t believe that he said anything wrong. Can we try to support him without dismissing the existence of racism.

Salute Ian, there is hardly an effective police force left in this county especially in the smaller towns. Thanks to all the Neighborhood Watches and Security Companies who are backing up and assisting the few dedicated members of the police force that are left. At times we have one member reporting for duty at our police station, it is extremely difficult and dangerous for our Saps members to work under these conditions. Cele or no Cele we will continue to protect our communities and our Saps members with our own resources. Working together for our own safety and security. Long live the spirit of Ian.
